Les sorties Sapphire de Topps représentent toujours la variante un peu plus premium et nettement plus limitée d’une collection Chrome. Comme pour de nombreuses autres collections ces dernières années, Topps élargit également la collection Premier League Chrome de février de cette année avec cette variante proposant des cartes dans le look bleu saphir typique.
Par boîte, les collectionneurs peuvent attendre 1 carte Autograph au look Sapphire, ainsi que 4 cartes Parallel numérotées. La numérotation la plus élevée dans cette collection est /99, ce qui souligne la limitation plus forte des éditions Sapphire par rapport à la collection principale Chrome.
Base Cards
Le BASE SET de la collection reprend les 200 cartes de la collection principale Chrome et leur donne l’apparence bleu saphir. L’ajout du jeune talent d’Arsenal Max Dowman comme carte Base supplémentaire, présent dans la collection principale Chrome, a été abandonné dans la Sapphire Edition, ce qui signifie qu’il ne se trouve dans cette collection que parmi les cartes Autograph.
Parallels
Au total, 7 variantes Parallel font briller le look Sapphire dans de nombreuses autres couleurs. La numérotation la plus élevée est /99 (Green), suivie de /50 (Gold), /25 (Orange), des Purple (/15) Parallels jusqu’ici plutôt inhabituelles pour les collections Sapphire Soccer, /10 (Black), /5 (Red) et des Parallels Padparadscha (1/1) uniques et exclusives à Sapphire.
Insert Cards
Depuis la collection principale Chrome, Topps a repris dans la Premier League Sapphire Edition les cinq catégories Insert ALIVE AND KICKING, GOLAZO, STOPPAGE TIME HEARTBREAKER, THAT’S HIS JOB et THE STREETS WON’T FORGET.
Exclusifs à la collection Sapphire, on trouve les deux sets Insert typiques de cette édition : INFINITE SAPPHIRE et SAPPHIRE SELECTIONS. Les Infinite Sapphires apparaissent comme Case Hit en moyenne dans chaque 81e paquet, tandis que les Sapphire Selections peuvent être tirées des paquets environ deux fois plus souvent (1:41).
Autograph Cards
La catégorie BASE AUTOGRAPH est un peu moins étendue que dans la collection principale Chrome, avec 92 signataires différents, mais reste tout de même très bien remplie.
Beaucoup plus rares et exclusives à la collection sont les 15 différentes SAPPHIRE SELECTIONS AUTOGRAPHS, qui comptent également parmi les points forts visuels de la collection.

Dans chaque boîte 2026 Topps Chrome Premier League Sapphire Edition se trouvent 32 cartes, réparties dans 8 paquets contenant chacun 4 cartes. Selon Topps, chaque boîte devrait contenir 1 carte Autograph ainsi que 4 cartes Parallel numérotées.
