Con le 2025 TOPPS Mint Disney Trading Cards, il magico mondo Disney arriva nelle mani dei collezionisti su carte da collezione di qualità premium. Oltre a un set base di 100 carte, alcune box includono anche carte autografate dagli attori e doppiatori dei personaggi dei film Disney.
Descrizione
Per la prima volta, Topps pubblica sotto l’etichetta MINT delle Trading Cards dedicate ai personaggi dei celebri film Disney e Pixar. In ogni box delle 2025 TOPPS Mint Disney Trading Cards, i collezionisti troveranno una bustina con 10 carte e una carta aggiuntiva racchiusa in un supporto magnetico (Magholder).
Questa carta speciale contiene il principale “hit” della box, che può appartenere a una vasta gamma di parallels numerate, inserts particolari o carte autografate da grandi star di Hollywood come Tom Hanks o Keira Knightley.
I visitatori della New York Comic Con (NYCC), che si terrà dal 9 al 12 ottobre nella metropoli della costa orientale degli Stati Uniti, potranno scoprire le carte tre settimane prima dell’uscita ufficiale. Presso lo stand Topps saranno disponibili le 2025 TOPPS Disney Mint NYCC Boxes, prodotte esclusivamente per l’evento. Queste offrono la possibilità di trovare una delle Magic Lamp Inserts esclusive con Genio del film Disney Aladdin, numerate fino a /99.
Base Cards
Il set base della collezione è composto da 120 carte suddivise — con rarità crescente — in quattro sottoinsiemi: Bronze (3–4 carte per bustina), Silver (3 carte per bustina), Gold (2 carte per bustina) e le Platinum, numerate a /99 (1 ogni 10 bustine).
Tutte le carte base sono stampate con una finitura holofoil che dona loro la tipica lucentezza arcobaleno, solitamente riservata ai parallels nelle altre collezioni.
Topps ha inoltre prodotto delle Base Chrome Variation Cards per tutte le 120 carte base. Queste sono molto più rare, presentano un motivo ondulato nella versione standard e sono numerate a /100 (Bronze), /75 (Silver), /50 (Gold) e /25 (Platinum).
Parallels
Per le carte base Bronze, Silver e Gold, Topps ha realizzato sei versioni parallel numerate a /75 o inferiori. Le parallels delle Platinum sono ancora più rare, limitate a un massimo di /10. Tra queste spicca la differenza più evidente tra le Hobby Boxes e le NYCC Boxes: le Black Electric Dots Parallels delle Platinum sono esclusive delle Hobby Boxes, mentre le Red & Blue Electric Dots sono riservate alle NYCC Boxes.
Topps ha anche inserito le quattro lastre di stampa (Ciano, Magenta, Giallo e Nero) di ogni carta base come veri esemplari 1/1.
Sono state inoltre prodotte tre varianti parallel a tiratura limitata delle Base Chrome Variations, numerate a /10 (Black), /5 (Red) e nella classica versione SuperFractor numerata 1/1.
Insert Cards
La collezione Disney Mint 2025 include tre set di insert molto diversi tra loro. Le Queen of Hearts Acetate Playing Cards trasportano i collezionisti nel mondo di Alice nel Paese delle Meraviglie, formando un mazzo completo di 52 carte trasparenti in plastica. Ogni carta è limitata a 125 copie.
Le Sketch Cards con illustrazioni disegnate a mano rappresentano una delle categorie chase della collezione. Topps non ha fornito ulteriori dettagli sul numero di carte, sui soggetti o sugli artisti. Ogni Sketch Card è un pezzo unico 1/1 e un vero gioiello per ogni collezione Disney.
La Magic Lamp Insert Card con Genio di Aladdin rappresenta la terza categoria di insert, disponibile esclusivamente nelle NYCC Boxes.
Autograph Cards
Le Chrome Autograph Cards aggiungono un tocco di celebrità alla collezione, includendo star internazionali come Melissa McCarthy, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley e Tom Hanks. Alcuni appaiono come attori nei film live action (ad esempio Pirati dei Caraibi), altri come doppiatori di personaggi dei classici animati Disney.
Le 25 diverse carte autografate sono numerate fino a un massimo di /75, rendendole particolarmente difficili da trovare nelle box.
Relic Cards & Autograph Relic Cards
Topps ha incluso una speciale Cut Signature Relic Card in omaggio ad Adriana Caselotti, la voce originale di Biancaneve nel film del 1937.
Topps ha inoltre inserito strisce di fumetti originali di Zio Paperone (Scrooge McDuck) in alcune carte, creando 200 esemplari unici, tutti diversi tra loro e numerati singolarmente 1/1.
Disponibilità
Entrambe le versioni del prodotto (Hobby Boxes e NYCC Boxes) contengono una bustina con 10 carte, tra cui una parallel numerata, e una carta incapsulata come hit principale. Per evitare confusione tra le due versioni, Topps ha realizzato le NYCC Boxes con un design Disney diverso rispetto alle Hobby Boxes, che saranno rilasciate circa tre settimane dopo.
La data di uscita annunciata da Topps per 2025 TOPPS Mint Disney Trading Cards è venerdì 31 Ottobre 2025.
A partire da tale data, le Hobby Boxes saranno disponibili tramite il sistema EQL nello shop online di Topps o presso rivenditori specializzati in Trading Cards.
