Just over one month after the release of the Chrome Cards for Europe’s premier women’s competition, the cards are released in the elegant Sapphire variant. The 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards reach collectors with one autograph and three numbered parallels per box.
Description
For the second time, Topps follows up the Chrome Cards of the UEFA Women’s Champions League with the Sapphire Edition, featuring cards in the signature blue sapphire look.
Base Cards
The 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer collection adopts the 100-card Base Set from the main collection and complements it with a 10-card subset featuring Image Variations.
Parallels
For the Base Cards, Topps has produced five parallel versions, all numbered to /50 or lower. For the Image Variations, the selection is limited to three parallel versions, each numbered to /10 or lower.
Insert Cards
The insert categories, however, have been significantly reduced, as is typical for Sapphire collections, meaning that only the Queens of Football inserts have made the transition from the main collection into the Sapphire Edition. They are joined by the exclusive Sapphire Selections and Infinite Sapphire inserts, which are only included in this collection. The latter appear only in every 80th pack and therefore qualify as a case hit.
Autograph Cards
In addition, fans of the UEFA Women’s Champions League can look forward to one Autograph Card per box. Alongside the 17 different Base Autographs, collectors may also find the Sapphire Selections Autographs, which are exclusive to this edition and feature signatures from 10 stars of the collection.
Availability
Each UEFA Women’s Champions League Sapphire Box contains 32 cards, distributed across 8 packs with 4 cards per pack. Each box always includes one Autograph Card.
The release date announced by Topps for 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition UEFA Women's Champions League Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 6th of November 2024.
From this date onward, the boxes are available in the Topps online shop.
