For the very first time, Topps is releasing a Chrome Deluxe Edition dedicated to the legendary English club Manchester United. Fans of the Red Devils can look forward to the 2024-25 Topps Chrome Deluxe Edition Manchester United Soccer Cards collection, a product packed with Autograph and Relic Cards that puts today’s stars, future talents, and the greatest legends of the club right in the spotlight.
Description
During the ongoing 2024/25 season, Red Devils fans were already able to enjoy two products from the still quite young partnership between Manchester United and Topps. First, a budget-friendly Fan Set for newcomers to the hobby, followed by a Team Set already equipped with Autograph and Relic Cards.
With the 2024-25 Topps Chrome Deluxe Edition Manchester United Soccer Cards, Topps is now adding a premium-level release shortly after the season ends. This product not only features higher-quality Chrome Cards, but especially in the field of Autograph and Relic Cards, it is significantly more stacked than the two previous launches.
Base Cards
The concept of Base Cards seems too negatively loaded for a high-end release like this, so Topps decided to skip this category entirely for this Manchester United collection. What collectors get instead are Manchester United Chrome Inserts and Autograph Cards – essentially what would normally be considered Base and Base Autograph Cards in other collections.
Insert Cards
Collectors can look forward to four different Insert Sets, with Parallels numbered up to /50. All-Timer celebrates the two record holders Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney, who hold the club records for most appearances and goals for Manchester United. Class of ’92 pays tribute to the famous group of academy graduates who became club icons. Old Trafford Ovation showcases both current stars and legends in euphoric moments. And finally, the already mentioned Manchester United Chrome Inserts highlight both today’s first-team players and heroes from the past.
Autograph Cards
The themes All-Timer, Class of ’92 and Manchester United Chrome were also carried over into the Autograph section, which together with Relics and Autograph Relic Cards forms the core of the collection. In addition, the Speak of the Devil Autographs feature first-team players, youth prospects, and club legends.
Each 2024-25 Topps Chrome Manchester United Deluxe Edition box contains 5 Autograph or Autograph Relic Cards plus 1 Relic Card, making it a dream come true for every dedicated Manchester United fan.
Relic Cards
The Relic Cards deliver true highlights, starting with the Red Devil Relics, which feature three rubies mounted onto the trident from the club crest. The unique The United Way Club Crest Relics give collectors the chance to own an exceptionally elegant piece, as these cards showcase the Manchester United crest cut from a match-worn or player-worn shirt. Completing the lineup are the Treble Legends Relics, which as match-worn relics include memorable items from the heroes of the historic 1998/99 Treble-winning season, including names like Dwight Yorke and Nicky Butt.
Autograph Relic Cards
The true centerpiece of the Manchester United Chrome Deluxe 2024/25 collection are the Autograph Relic Cards – combining player signatures with authentic memorabilia. The Manchester Moments Autograph Relics let collectors relive iconic moments from United’s players, while the Treble Legends Autograph Relics honor the legendary team that in 1999 became the first English club to win the historic Treble of Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League.
One special chase card is included: the Backed by the Red Devil Autograph Relic Card. This card exists only once as a Superfractor Parallel and is dedicated to Wayne Rooney, one of the greatest stars in the history of the club from the northwest of England.
Availability
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Chrome Deluxe Edition Manchester United Soccer Cards is Thursday, the 31st of July 2025.
From this date the boxes are available either directly in the Topps online shop or through selected sports card retailers.
