2024-25 TOPPS Inception Bundesliga Soccer Cards

Release Date:

For the first time, Topps is releasing an Inception collection for the German Fußball-Bundesliga. Fans and collectors can look forward not only to current stars and up-and-coming talents but also to legends from earlier days. Each 2024-25 TOPPS Inception Bundesliga Soccer Cards box contains 2 autograph cards and 2 numbered parallels.

Description

After four collections for the European club competitions, Topps is bringing the popular Inception format for the first time to fans of German Bundesliga football. Visually, the 2024-25 TOPPS Inception Bundesliga Soccer Cards collection is very close to the soccer debut from the 2020/21 season, but unlike that one it has been enhanced with patch, autograph patch and autograph book cards and is therefore structurally comparable to the Inception UCC collection of the 2022/23 season.

Base Cards

A 125-card base set awaits collectors of the new Bundesliga Inception collection. Topps has divided this into the subsets typical of the Inception collections:

Star Quality with the best players from all 18 Bundesliga clubs. Emerging Stars & Next Gen with the up-and-coming talents and rookies from the Bundesliga and 2. Liga, including Mohammed Amoura, Cole Campbell and Nathaniel Brown. Succession showcases players who have shown their potential on the Bundesliga stage such as Antonio Nusa, Jamie Gittens or Hugo Larsson. First XI honors the team of the season with stars like Harry Kane, Serhou Guirassy, Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala and Jeremie Frimpong.

Inception Point celebrates legendary Bundesliga debuts by former Bundesliga players such as Erling Haaland, Jude Bellingham, Kevin Keegan or Robert Lewandowski and in the Legacy category the biggest stars from Bundesliga history take the stage. The unforgettable Franz Beckenbauer, goalkeeping legend Sepp Maier, Andi Herzog, Oliver Bierhoff, Raul, Arjen Robben, Philipp Lahm or Miroslav Klose.

Parallels

Topps has not released any further details on the parallel variants of the collection. These will therefore only become apparent after opening the first boxes and will be incorporated into the checklist below once known.

Autograph Cards

One of the focal points of Inception is the autograph cards. In addition to autograph variants from the subcategories of the base cards, there are also some special categories in this area, such as the Immersion Short Print Autographs, which were produced only in small quantities. Here you will find illustrious names such as Maximilian Beier, El Bilal Touré, Castello Lukeba and—wearing a Mainz shirt for the last time—the newly transferred Eintracht Frankfurt player Jonathan Burkardt.

A special eye-catcher is the autograph book cards. These are available in a 2-signature variant as Dual Autograph Book and Then & Now Autograph Books, where two generations meet on one book card. Even more exciting are the Legends Quad Autograph Books with 4 signatures. Topps has dedicated these cards to three clubs: Bayern München with Rummenigge, Klose, Podolski and Makaay, Borussia Dortmund with Błaszczykowski, Piszczek, Kagawa and Reus, as well as Bayer 04 Leverkusen with Ballack, Berbatov, Nowotny and Neuville.

Relic & Autograph Relic Cards

Things get particularly spectacular with the relic and autograph relic cards. Some cards feature embedded match-worn shirt relics from Bundesliga matches, jumbo relics and letter patch cards with the letters from the shirt backs.

The highlight is the combined autograph relic cards with jersey and a star’s signature. Particularly striking are the Club Crest Autograph Patch Cards, which, with the club crest from the shirts, are likely to become sought-after collector’s items. But the Laundry Tag Autograph Relics are also extremely sought after by collectors.

Verfügbarkeit

Each Bundesliga Inception 2024/25 box contains 7 cards. Included are 2 autograph cards and 2 numbered parallel cards. The remaining 3 cards in each box are base cards.

The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Inception Bundesliga Soccer Cards is Friday, the 22nd of August 2025.

The 2024-25 Topps Bundesliga Inception boxes will be offered via Topps’ European online shops and by retailers specializing in sportscards.
