Topps kicks off the new Team Set season with the Skyblues from Manchester. Each box of the 2025-26 TOPPS Manchester City Team Set Soccer Cards includes 2 numbered and 4 unnumbered Parallel Cards. On average, every second box also contains an Autograph Card.
Description
Following the entry-level Collectors Tins, the slightly more premium Team Sets from Topps are also entering a new season. The English team Manchester City, led by star coach Pep Guardiola, opens the 25/26 campaign.
More will follow throughout the season, including the already announced 2025-26 Team Sets for FC Barcelona, FC Bayern München and Juventus from Italy. It is highly likely that every club for which a Collectors Tin has been released will also receive a Team Set from Topps.
Structurally, the sets resemble what Topps presented last season, enhanced with a fresh design and updated content based on the current 2025/26 squad lists.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the 2025-26 TOPPS Manchester City Team Set Soccer Cards collection consists of 50 Cards and is divided into four subsets: Collectors already know the categories First Team – featuring players from the current men’s and women’s teams – and Bona Fide Baller from last season. New additions include the Pitch Pursuits as well as the visually impressive Collector’s Corner Cards, which feature full-bleed photo designs.
These four Base Subsets form the core of every Topps Team Set for the 2025/26 season. Each is supplemented by a club-specific category tailored to the respective team, such as the 1894 Subset for Manchester City, which honours the club’s founding year.
Parallels
For these Cards, Topps has produced 15 Parallel variations – roughly twice as many as last year – allowing them to include two numbered Parallels per box instead of just one. Thirteen of the Parallels are numbered to /150 or lower, while the two unnumbered variations are the Static Foil Parallels (1 per box) already known from last year, and the new Halo Parallels (3 per box).
Insert Cards
Topps has streamlined the Insert categories down to one, leaving only the Rainbow Flick Inserts – already familiar from last season – with their vibrant, colourful look for the 2025/26 Team Sets. These remain among the rarest Cards in the collection, with just 1 Rainbow Flick Card per Case.
Autograph Cards
For collectors of Autograph Cards, the Team Sets are somewhat less appealing this season than in the previous two years, as Topps now includes one of these sought-after Cards in only every second box on average.
Topps has also reduced the number of Autograph Card categories compared to last year, limiting them to two groups featuring current stars and club legends: the Base Autographs and the Bona Fide Baller Autographs.
Availability
Since Autograph Cards are no longer guaranteed, Topps has lowered the price of the Team Sets compared to last year. The boxes cost €15 or £10 less this season, though still noticeably more than the last time when no Autograph Card but two numbered Parallels were guaranteed in every box.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025-26 TOPPS Manchester City Team Set Soccer Cards is Tuesday, the 11th of November 2025.
The boxes will be available from this date in Topps’ European online shops and shortly thereafter through sports card-specialised retailers.
