The Flagship Edition is the first comprehensive hobby collection from Topps for the 2025/26 season of European club competitions. Per 2025-26 TOPPS UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards Hobby Box, collectors can look forward to one Autograph, Relic or Autograph Relic Card featuring current stars and legends of European football.
Description
Starting slightly later than in the previous year, Topps enters the new 2025/26 season of European club competitions with the UCC Flagship Collection, which delivers the defining design for numerous further releases throughout the current season. The collection covers the three competitions: the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League, and the UEFA Conference League.
Base Cards
As in previous years, the collection features a 200-card base set that presents the biggest stars of the three competitions and is packed with numerous new rookies from the 2025/26 season. In addition, the base set includes three Title Winner Cards featuring the title holders from the previous season, as well as 10 Future Stars.
The base set is complemented by rare Base Short Print and Base Super Short Print Variations.
Parallels
With 38 different parallel variants, Topps slightly exceeds last year’s collection. Alongside 9 non-numbered variants, there are 29 variants numbered to /299 or lower. In addition, the four printing plates of each base card have once again been inserted into packs.
As in the previous year, the highest numbering can only be found in Blaster Boxes, while the parallels in Hobby Boxes are numbered descending from /250. Each product format also features numerous exclusive parallels that can only be pulled from the respective product.
Insert Cards
Collectors will find plenty of new content to discover among the thematic insert sets this year. From last year, the Hype, Mindgame, Trophy Chasers, and Blaster-exclusive Epicenter inserts have been carried over. Also returning is the Best of the Best category, which this time carries the subtitle Legendary Numbers.
As in the previous year, Topps includes one Silver Promo Pack in every Hobby Box, which promotes the Chrome collection released later in the season with the included Ultimate Stage Chrome Cards.
New this year are the Roots inserts, which show stars in the jerseys of the clubs where they first made a name for themselves on the European stage, as well as the Born Champ and Murals inserts, and the Home Advantage Cards that Topps has already used in the Premier League collection.
Additional visually appealing categories include the Jigsaw inserts in puzzle style and the also new 8Bit Shots, created in cooperation with 8Bit Football.
As in the previous year, collectors can also pull rare Sketch Cards from packs, which this year are joined by the new Gold Framed Messi Anniversary Sketch Cards.
The Grail Cards also return for a new season, once again enabling the hunt for a complete nine-card overall image spanning the UEFA collections for the 2025/26 season.
Autograph Cards
The collection offers a total of seven different autograph categories. In addition to signed versions of the Base Cards, Future Stars, Best of the Best: Legendary Numbers, Roots, and Ultimate Stage Chrome inserts, collectors can also pull Dual Autograph Cards from packs.
Exclusive to the Hobby Boxes are the Topps 1955 Autograph Cards, which are inspired by the design of classic Topps baseball cards.
Also included in the collection are the Marks of Excellence On-Card Autograph Cards, which Topps uses across multiple collections.
Relic Cards
For the Relic Cards, the 2025-26 TOPPS UCC Flagship Edition continues proven elements from the previous year with the return of the Premium Class Relics and Topps Superstar Relics, which are only found in Hobby Boxes.
Exclusive to the Blaster Boxes are the Starball Commemorative Relics, featuring a token inspired by the Champions League logo that is embedded into the card but does not have a direct connection to the respective player.
Autograph Relic Cards
The autographed versions of the Premium Class Relics and Topps Superstar Relics are exclusive to the Hobby Boxes.
Joining them this year as a special highlight are the Griezmann UCL Milestone On-Card Autograph Relic Cards, signed directly on the cards by the French top star.
Availability
Each Hobby Box of the collection contains 24 packs with 8 cards each, plus the Silver Promo Pack with Chrome Cards. Among the cards in each box are one Autograph, Relic, or Autograph Relic Card, as well as three numbered parallels.
The Blaster Boxes contain 56 cards distributed across 7 packs with 8 cards each. Each box always includes one numbered parallel card. With some luck, collectors may find one of the Starball Commemorative Relics, which are found on average in every fifth box, or even one of the Autograph Cards, which are found on average in every fortieth box.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025-26 TOPPS UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards is Thursday, the 15th of January 2026.
Some collectors were already able to purchase initial boxes during a short presale by Topps on December 16. From the official release date onward, they will once again be available in the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sportscards.
