The 2025 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Marvel Studios Trading Cards collection brings the iconic heroes, villains, and spectacular moments from the films and television series to collectors in the form of elegant Sapphire Cards.
Description
Just under a month after the release of the Marvel Studios Chrome Cards, Topps follows up with the Sapphire Edition, featuring cards in a shimmering bluish look. The 2025 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Marvel Studios Trading Cards have a significantly smaller print run than the main Chrome collection, making the cards all the more desirable among Marvel fans.
Base Cards
The Base Set mirrors that of the standard Chrome collection and therefore also consists of 200 cards featuring the heroes and villains from Marvel Studios films and series.
Parallels
There are 7 parallel variants available for these cards. The Green Parallels numbered to /99 represent the highest numbering in the collection, followed by the Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Purple (/15), Black (/10), and Red (/5) Parallels. The most sought-after pieces of every Sapphire release are the Padparadscha Parallels numbered to 1/1.
Insert Cards
None of the insert sets from the Chrome main collection were carried over by Topps into the Sapphire Edition. Only the Sketch Cards can also be pulled from the Sapphire boxes.

Typical of every Sapphire Edition are the Sapphire Selections inserts that can only be found here. In this collection as well, collectors are presented with 10 different designs featuring main characters. As these cards are found on average in only every 80th pack, they are therefore considered a case hit.
Autograph Cards
The 118 Base Autograph Cards from the Chrome main collection were reduced somewhat by Topps, with 63 of them produced as Sapphire variants for this collection.
As additional highlights, collectors can once again find Dual and Triple Autograph Cards in the 2025 Topps Marvel Studios Chrome Sapphire packs. All versions known from the Chrome collection were included and enhanced with the Sapphire look.
Availability
The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Marvel Studios Trading Cards is Friday, the 16th of January 2026.
The boxes will be available from that date on the US website of Topps. Whether and when they may be released in additional countries is currently not yet known.
