Just about two months after the season finale, the Chrome Cards for the German Bundesliga reach collectors. As in previous years, fans can look forward to pulling one Autograph Card of the league’s stars per 2024-25 TOPPS Chrome Bundesliga Soccer Cards Hobby Box.
Description
For the 62nd Bundesliga season, Topps is once again back with a Chrome collection and presents collectors in the 2024-25 TOPPS Chrome Bundesliga Soccer Cards collection with the stars, rookies, and legends of Germany’s top flight.
Base Cards
The base set once again consists of 100 Cards featuring the top stars and most promising young talents from the 18 Bundesliga clubs competing in the 2024/25 season.
Parallels
Topps has increased the number of parallel variations by 2 compared to last year’s edition. However, nearly all parallel variations are now numbered, and the maximum numbering of the Cards drops—much to the delight of collectors—from /399 to /250.
Insert Cards
Topps has once again heavily reworked the insert categories and launches with a fresh line-up. Returning from last year is the traditional TOP XI category, along with the rare Hobby Masters and the Ultrabeam Inserts featuring the league’s rising stars.
New this year are the BUZZ Inserts, the visually impressive Diamond Etch Inserts, the History is Now Dual Cards with legends and superstars of German football, the First Taste die-cut Inserts showcasing the rookies’ hunger for more, and the Wild Jungle Inserts with a new and extraordinary parallel variant structure.
A special insert set this year is The Unbeaten Short Prints featuring the players of Bayer 04 Leverkusen, who became the first team ever to win the Bundesliga title undefeated in the previous season. In line with the number of unbeaten games, each card exists only 34 times. Even rarer is the one-of-a-kind Insert Card of the Bundesliga championship trophy.
Autograph Cards
In addition to 120 different base Autograph Cards, collectors can once again find the popular Dual and Triple Autograph Cards in their Chrome Bundesliga 24/25 Boxes. Joining them are themed autograph cards from 4 of the insert categories as well as the brand-new Verve! Autographs, which are exclusive to Hobby Boxes.
Extraordinary collector’s items also include the unique Der Kaiser, Der Musiala, and Der Wirtz Autograph Cards—dedicated to the most legendary German footballer of all time and two who are on their way to that status. For the Jamal Musiala card, fans can even look forward to an on-card autograph.
Availability
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Chrome Bundesliga Soccer Cards is Thursday, the 10th of July 2025.
The Boxes will be available from that date on the Topps website or from retailers specialized in trading cards.
