Description

When Topps announced trading cards for darts wonderkid Luke Littler last summer, it gave darts fans among collectors their first taste of anticipation for cards dedicated to their sport. Just under a month later, Panini went one better by announcing that it had entered into a multi-year partnership with the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation) and would produce several collections and collectible products featuring all the PDC’s top stars over the coming years.

To mark the PDC Darts World Championship beginning in December, the highlight of every season, the 2025 PANINI PDC World Championship Darts Cards are the first collection from this new partnership, aimed at all hobby enthusiasts as well as those looking to take their first steps into the world of trading cards with this collection.

Base Cards

Panini’s first darts trading card collection features a 60-card Base Set with the current top stars who will compete for the world title at London’s Ally Pally from mid-December.

Parallels

For these cards, Panini has produced 8 different Parallel variants, six of which are numbered to /180, /100, /50, /25, /9 or 1/1. The two unnumbered Parallels are each product-exclusive and can only be found in the Premium Boxes (Cracked Ice) or Collectors Boxes (Pink).

Insert Cards

The Panini PDC World Darts Championship 2025 Trading Cards Collection is expanded by 90 additional cards from 7 Insert categories, which explore specific aspects of the sport in small themed sets and also bring some of its greatest legends into the collection.

Darts fans can look forward to the World Champions Insert Cards featuring all 12 previous PDC world champions. The 9-Dart-Club Inserts showcase the players who have already managed to produce a perfect 501-point game in 9 darts during the tournament. Legends of the Game celebrates the icons who have shaped the sport over the years and thrilled fans around the world. The Next Generation Inserts feature the rising talents and the future of darts. The players on the Scoring Machine Inserts regularly shine with the highest scoring averages, while the All Around the PDC Insert Cards bring essential figures such as callers, referees and well-known TV commentators into the collection.

A special feature among the Insert Cards are the rare Bullseye Inserts, which are an exclusive Case Hit and can only be found in an average of every 10th Premium Box. Featuring a Cracked Ice foil finish, the cards show the top players in special celebration poses and will undoubtedly become some of the most sought-after collectibles in this Panini PDC cards collection.

Autograph Cards

The highlight of the collection is the large selection of Autograph Cards featuring the stars and legends of darts. Collectors can find 71 different Autograph Cards in the packs of the 2025 PANINI PDC World Championship Darts collection. These are divided into 39 Base Autographs and 32 Autographs from the four Insert categories All Around the PDC, Legends of the Game, Next Generation and World Champions.

All Autograph Cards from the first Panini darts card collection are numbered to /75 or lower. On the one hand, this underlines their rarity, while on the other it makes them highly desirable collectibles, as each trading card directly shows how many copies of it were produced.

There are two different product formats for darts fans looking to get started with collecting: the more affordable Collectors Boxes, with 120 cards, exclusive Pink Parallels, 2-3 numbered Parallels and an Autograph Card in an average of every 5th box. In contrast, the higher-end Premium Boxes offer fewer cards with 80 cards per box, but in return contain more numbered Parallels overall and a guaranteed Autograph Card.

There is no pre-made collector binder for the Panini PDC trading cards, as there is, for example, with the Adrenalyn XL Trading Card Games. With this type of hobby collection, the various ways of collecting have led to collectors equipping themselves with the accessories that best suit them and their own collecting style. Retailers specialising in sports cards stock these accessories in a wide range of sizes and quality levels, so every collector should be able to find the ideal accessories for their needs. For anyone who chooses one of the classic collector binders from the world of Trading Card Games, Panini provides suitable printable cover sheets, which can be downloaded as a pdf via this link.
