Topps celebrates three decades of Toy Story and dedicates a special anniversary collection to the beloved characters with the 2025 TOPPS 30 Years of Toy Story Trading Cards. Fans of the toy figures can look forward to 1 autograph or sketch card, as well as 4 numbered parallels per box.

A little over 30 years after the first Toy Story movie hit the big screen and launched one of the most successful franchises, Topps celebrates the anniversary with the 2025 TOPPS 30 Years of Toy Story Trading Cards.
Fans of Andy, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the many other characters from the now four Toy Story films can look forward to numerous cards featuring their favorites, as well as autograph cards from the voice actors and unique sketch cards.
Base Cards
The BASE SET of the collection includes 100 cards and showcases the characters from Toy Story 1–4.
It is complemented by 4 Image Variation Sets (CONE VARIATIONS, IMAGE VARIATIONS, PIXAR BALL VARIATIONS, PIZZA PLANET VARIATIONS), which present selected characters from the base set with alternate images or special backgrounds, in varying quantities and levels of rarity.
Parallels
For the base set, Topps has produced 9 different parallel variants, numbered to /199 (Aqua), /150 (Blue), /99 (Green), /75 (Purple), /50 (Rose Gold), /25 (Orange), /10 (Black), /5 (Red) and 1/1 (SuperFractor).
Special parallels tailored to the collection and the anniversary can be found within the insert sets, such as the Woody’s Cowboy Hat Shimmer parallels numbered to /99 or the 30th Anniversary parallels numbered to /30.
Insert Cards
A total of 15 different insert categories await collectors, highlighting various aspects of the 30-year franchise history.
Among the 4 categories more commonly found in packs are the 30 YEARS AND BEYOND, FALLING WITH STYLE, SO PLAY NICE and YOU’VE GOT A FRIEND IN ME insert cards.
Significantly rarer and classified by Topps as case hits or combined case hits are AL’S TOY BARN, ART OF TOY STORY, TOPPS 1995, TO INFINITY…, …AND BEYOND, TOY TAAFFEITE, and the two shadowbox card inserts ANDY’S CARDS and THE CLAW, which are limited to 20 copies each in their standard version.
Considered super short prints, and therefore found only in approximately 1 in 2,923 packs, are the SID HAS YOUR CARDS PARALLELS. Of these 10 different die-cut cards, only 5 copies exist per card.
The insert cards are complemented by 2 sketch card categories (STUDIO CREATIONS & TOY STORY SKETCH CARDS), in which collectors can find unique, hand-drawn cards from a range of different artists.
Autograph Cards
Names of prominent actors who lent their voices to the characters in the English original can be found across the 3 autograph card categories of the collection. Collectors can pull cards featuring the signatures of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Christina Hendricks, Mel Brooks, Kelsey Grammer or Whoopi Goldberg from their packs.
In addition to YOU. ARE. A. TOY… STORY AUTOGRAPHS and GOLDEN TOYS SHADOWBOX AUTOGRAPHS, the YOU’VE GOT A FRIEND IN ME DUAL AUTOGRAPH cards offer special combinations of two stars’ signatures on a single card.
Availability
Each hobby box of the 2025 Topps 30 Years of Toy Story collection, designed in the style of a covered wagon, contains 32 cards distributed across 8 packs with 4 cards each. According to Topps, each box includes one autograph or sketch card as well as 4 numbered parallel cards.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS 30 Years of Toy Story Trading Cards is Wednesday, the 6th of May 2026. Short-term changes to this date are possible at any time and should be taken into account.
From that point on, the boxes will be available in the Topps online shop or through retailers specializing in trading cards. Interested collectors were able to purchase the boxes during an initial pre-sale phase on April 7 directly from Topps at a price of $209.99.
