2025 TOPPS Chrome Black NFL Football Cards

Release Date:

The Chrome Black cards from Topps bring the stars and rising prospects of the NFL to collectors in a classy dark design. Each 2025 TOPPS Chrome Black NFL Football Cards Hobby Box offers 1 Autograph Card to pull from the packs.

Description

With the 2025 TOPPS Chrome Black NFL Football Cards, Topps continues its run of releases for the NFL season 2025, which already ended 4 months ago, and brings the brand, already established in baseball, to collectors for the first time with a full NFL license.

The trademark of the Chrome Black collections is the dark design with an added sense of drama. It gives the cards, built around strong contrasts and shadow-heavy images, more visual sharpness than traditional Chrome collections.

Base Cards

The BASE SET of the 2025 TOPPS Chrome Black Football Cards collection includes 150 cards, divided into 100 Veterans and 50 Rookies from the 2025 rookie class.

Parallels

Topps has not yet released any further details on the Parallels.

Insert Cards

Collectors can hunt for visually striking inserts such as the NOCTURNAL and DEPTHS OF DARKNESS inserts. In addition, a number of other case hits are waiting, including the HIT THE LIGHTS, BLACK LIGHTNING and ROOKIE DESIGN VARIATIONS inserts.

Autograph Cards

Alongside the BASE AUTOGRAPHS, which bring together Veterans and Rookies, three additional autograph designs await collectors. The IVORY AUTOGRAPHS also include some of the most important players from earlier days, such as Jerry Rice, Tom Brady, Roger Staubach or Randy Moss, while the SUPER FUTURES AUTOGRAPHS are mainly dedicated to players who still have the majority of their careers ahead of them.

One highlight of the collection is the PITCH BLACK PAIRINGS DUAL AUTOGRAPHS, which primarily combine the signatures of two generations from one team or current teammates.

Availability

Each Hobby Box of the 2025 TOPPS Chrome Black NFL Football Cards contains 13 cards, 12 of which are spread across 2 packs with 6 cards each. In addition, there is 1 Autograph Card enclosed in a magnetic holder.

The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Chrome Black Football Cards is Thursday, the 9th of July 2026. Short-term changes to this date are possible at any time and should be taken into account.

From this point onward, the boxes will be available in the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sportscards.
