With the first-ever 2025 TOPPS Inception Major League Soccer Cards, Topps is bringing the MLS into the circle of Inception releases as well. Fans of the league can look forward to 1 Autograph Card, 1 Relic Card, and 1 numbered Parallel Card per MLS Inception Box.
Description
Following the Inception Cards for the European club competitions and the German Bundesliga, which are extremely popular with collectors, fans of the U.S.-based top-flight MLS will also get to enjoy an Inception collection.
The 2025 TOPPS Inception Major League Soccer Cards deliver not only the current stars and up-and-coming talents of the league to collectors, but also a number of legends, many of whom had already celebrated major success in European football.
Despite the dense assembly of top stars, the currently celebrated Lionel Messi will undoubtedly be the most sought-after player in this collection.
Base Cards
The base set of the collection comprises a total of 60 cards, among which there is also a large share of notable names from previous Major League Soccer seasons.
Parallels
Topps has not yet provided details on the number and types of Parallel Cards in the collection, apart from the fact that they are numbered to a maximum of /35.
Autograph Cards
Topps has divided the Autograph Cards of the collection into four categories. In addition to the signed version of the Base Cards – the Base Autographs – there are Dual Autographs featuring the signatures of two players on one card.
Even more spectacular and premium are the Dual Autograph Book Cards and the On-Card Silver Signings Autographs. One of the particularly sought-after On-Card Autographs is included in every case.
Relic Cards
For the Relic Cards, Topps uses the Jumbo format, which was already seen in the Inception Cards for the German Bundesliga. Alongside the Relic Cards featuring the league’s current stars, two further categories are included: the Rookie Jumbo Relics with the most promising young players, and the Legendary Relics with some of the greatest legends in league history. According to Topps, all relics are player-worn or match-worn.
Autograph Relic Cards
All three relic formats are also available in a version with the stars’ signatures. In addition, Topps has created a new category exclusively for this Inception MLS collection with the Galactic Patch Autographs.

The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Inception Major League Soccer Cards is Monday, the 24th of November 2025.
