F1 Lights Out is back, bringing Formula 1 fans the stars and rising talents of the 2025 season on vibrant Trading Cards. For the first time, collectors will also have the chance to find Autograph Cards from racing heroes inside the 2025 TOPPS Lights Out Formula 1 Racing Cards Boxes.
Description
Earlier this year, a premium Lights Out anniversary collection was released as an exclusive Fantics London Store product. Now, after almost three years, Topps is reactivating the brand for a wider audience with the 2025 TOPPS Lights Out Formula 1 Racing Cards – a collection celebrating the ongoing 2025 Formula 1 season.
The Lights Out Cards released in the first two years of the Topps–Formula 1 partnership stood out with their bright colors set against dark backgrounds, a design that was always well received by collectors. Fans will be pleased to see the return of these cards to the Topps lineup.
Base Cards
The Base Set features 57 Cards divided into six subsets: Drivers, Team, Nero, Bright Future, Records and Next Gen.
Parallels
As with Topps’ On-Demand sets, there are seven numbered parallel variations: /99, /75, /49, /25, /10, /5 and the unique 1/1. The 1/1 Cards in the Lights Out collection feature a golden border to emphasize their exclusivity.
Also typical of On-Demand sets, Topps does not specify whether every card exists in every parallel variant. Some categories or drivers may not appear in all seven versions found in packs.
Autograph Cards
Collectors can also find autograph versions from four of the six Base Card categories (Drivers, Nero, Bright Future, Next Gen). Alongside up-and-coming F2 drivers – offering the chance to secure early-career signatures — Autograph Cards of top stars like Lewis Hamilton and McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, currently leading the championship standings, can be pulled from packs.
The 1/1 Autograph Cards also feature a golden frame, making them especially coveted collector’s items.
Topps does not provide exact odds for pulling an Autograph Card from the 2025 TOPPS Lights Out Formula 1 Racing Cards Boxes, only stating that they are found in “Lucky Boxes”.
Availability
Each Lights Out F1 Box contains 20 Cards, including two numbered parallels.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Lights Out Formula 1 Racing Cards is Friday, the 29th of August 2025.
Boxes will be available in Topps’ European online shops from this date. After the production and shipping period of approximately 6–8 weeks, they will also be available at sports card retailers.
The contents of the 2025 TOPPS Lights Out Formula 1 Racing Cards checklist are based on information provided by the manufacturer, supplemented by our own findings and community-verified contributions. The preview images provided by the manufacturers may differ from the final design.
