2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Bundesliga Soccer Cards

Release Date:

After a one-year break, the Sapphire Cards return to the Bundesliga with their classic blue look. In 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Bundesliga Soccer Cards boxes, collectors can find 1 Autograph Card and the Parallel Cards typical for this edition.

Description

With the Sapphire Edition, the somewhat more refined and significantly more limited variant of the Bundesliga Chrome collection from June of this year is released, featuring cards with the sapphire-blue finish.

Base Cards

The 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Bundesliga Soccer Cards collection adopts the 100-card BASE SET and the included players from the Chrome Bundesliga main collection and gives it the typical blue Sapphire look.

For this Bundesliga Sapphire Edition, Topps has also released 10 BASE IMAGE VARIATIONS, showing ten players from the collection on alternative images compared to their Base Cards.

Parallels

In addition to the Base Cards, Topps has produced 5 parallel variants, numbered to /50 or lower. Slightly higher numbered are the Base Image Variations and the Ultrabeam Insert Cards, for which Topps additionally uses the two versions /99 (Green) and /75 (Yellow).

Insert Cards

Within the Sapphire Edition, collectors will find the two insert categories typical for this product variant and exclusively included there: INFINITE SAPPHIRE and SAPPHIRE SELECTIONS. They are complemented by the ULTRABEAM Insert Cards carried over from the main collection.

Autograph Cards

Since Topps has not published a separate checklist for the Sapphire Edition, it can only be assumed regarding the Autograph Cards that Topps has produced a Sapphire variant of all Base Autograph Cards from the Chrome main collection. In spot checks, 92 of the total 100 Base Autograph Cards have been sighted, which strongly suggests that all cards listed in the following checklist exist. However, it is possible that not every card has all parallel variants.

In addition to the Base Autograph Cards, collectors can also pull Sapphire Selection Autographs from the Topps Bundesliga Sapphire boxes, which Topps has primarily dedicated to the league’s young stars.

Availability

Each Hobby Box of the collection contains 32 cards, distributed across 8 packs with 4 cards each. According to Topps, these always include 1 Autograph Card, 3 numbered Parallel Cards, and 1 Base Image Variation Card.

The release date announced by Topps for 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition Bundesliga Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 3rd of July 2024.

From that date onward, the Bundesliga Sapphire 2023/24 boxes will be available on the Topps website or from retailers specializing in sports cards.

Weiß jemand, wann Topps die Edition ausliefert? Bzw. hat schon jemand seine Bestellung erhalten? Der Topps-Kundenservice ignoriert leider bisher meine Nachfrage.
