For the third time, Topps presents the Chrome Cards for the European premier competition in women’s football. The 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards once again reach collectors in the two product variants Hobby Box and Value Box.
Description
Just over four months after the final of the UEFA Women’s Champions League 2023/24 season between FC Barcelona and Olympique Lyonnais, Topps launches the Chrome collection dedicated to the European elite of women’s football.
Base Cards
Like the previous releases in this series, the 2023-24 TOPPS UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer collection comes with a 100-card Base Set. It features the current stars and the most promising young talents of the competition on premium Chrome trading cards.
Parallels
Compared to the previous season’s collection, Topps expands the range of parallel versions of the Base Cards and introduces the Color Match Parallels numbered to /99 as well as the XI Parallels numbered with Roman numerals up to 11. In addition, the numbering of the Neon Green Parallels is increased from /99 to /150. These changes also result in a higher overall print run for the collection compared to last year.
Insert Cards
For the insert categories of the UEFA Women’s Champions League Chrome 2023/24 collection, Topps relies on a mix of new concepts and proven favorites. Collectors of earlier UWCL collections will already be familiar with the Fierce, Queens of Football and Golazo inserts, which return with fresh designs. New additions this season include the Inside Look, Power On and Chrome Layer inserts.
Autograph Cards
In addition to the standard Autograph Cards, UWCL fans can once again look forward to Dual Autograph Cards this year, featuring two autographs from top players in the competition. Each Chrome Women’s Champions League Hobby Box is guaranteed to contain 1 Autograph Card.
Autograph Relic Cards
As with the men’s Chrome collection, collectors now also have the chance to find Autograph Relic Cards in packs. These include the Premium Autograph Relics, combining a signature with a piece of match-worn jersey, as well as the Official Draw Card Autograph Relics released as One-of-One Cards, which include a player’s autograph alongside the original draw slip from the official UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage draw.
Availability
Each Hobby Box of the Topps Women’s Chrome 2023/24 collection contains 80 cards, distributed across 20 packs with 4 cards per pack. One Autograph Card is always included.
For collectors looking to enter the collection on a smaller budget, the also available Value or Blaster Boxes offer an entry point, although these boxes do not include a guaranteed Autograph Card. With a bit of luck, however, it is still possible to pull one of the signed cards from these boxes as well.
The release date announced by Topps for 2023-24 TOPPS Chrome UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 2nd of October 2024.
From this date onward, the boxes are available in the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sportscards.
