Description
The Topps Chrome cards for the NFL, the most important annual release for NFL collectors, are arriving this time while the season is still underway, only about half a year after the release of the Chrome cards for the 2025 NFL season.
So far, Topps has not released much information about the collection, so this article and the card gallery will both be updated on an ongoing basis.
What is already clear at this point is that familiar Chrome insert categories such as Helix, Radiating Rookies and Ultra Violet are included. They are joined by the football-specific inserts Game Genies, Kaiju and Tecmo. New additions to the insert lineup are the Glass Canvas, Madden 99 Club and Super Bowl at Night categories.
Collectors can look forward to autograph cards featuring current stars such as Josh Allen, CeeDee Lamb, Jahmyr Gibbs and Myles Garrett, as well as this year’s rookies, including Fernando Mendoza, Jeremiyah Love, Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson and Caleb Downs. The NFL Honors Gold Shield Autographs also bring some of the sport’s biggest names into the collection.

Availability
Topps will open pre-orders for the products in the 2026 TOPPS Chrome Football collection on October 19, 2026. On the preceding Friday, collectors will already have the chance to secure one of the First Day Issue (FDI) boxes, which feature exclusive Molten Mercury parallels and autograph cards.
A specific release date has not yet been announced and will be added here once confirmed.
From that point on, the boxes will be available through the Topps online store or from retailers specializing in sports cards.
