Right at the start of the new year, Panini’s Donruss Soccer Cards make their return to the stage. Collectors can look forward to the stars and legends of more than 20 national teams in the 2024-25 PANINI Donruss Soccer collection, as well as 1 Autograph Card + 1 Memorabilia Card per Hobby Box.
Description
The now once again annually released Panini Donruss Soccer Cards shift for the current season — from last year’s colorful mix of players in club and national team kits — back to a collection featuring national teams only.
Base Cards
More than 20 national teams from five different continents are waiting to be pulled from the packs by collectors, including top teams from Argentina, Germany, England, and France. Together with the players from other teams, they form a 200-card Base Set, into which Panini has traditionally integrated a subset of 25 Rated Rookie Cards featuring promising young talents.
Parallels
In addition to the Parallels produced for the standard version of the cards, there are also numerous colorful Parallels to discover for the Optic version, which is included in the packs as well. Most of these Parallels have been assigned by Panini exclusively to specific product types. Therefore, collectors chasing a particular Parallel need to choose the right product.
Insert Cards
The collection is expanded by eight Insert Sets that add even more cards to the Donruss Panini line. Among them are the well-known Kaboom!, Net Marvels, Night Moves, and Rookie Kings Inserts from previous years. New this year are the Animation Inserts. Panini also brings back the Magicians Inserts, which were used several years ago.
Autograph Cards
Collectors of Autograph Cards will find in the 2024-25 Donruss Soccer collection the three familiar and proven categories: Signature Series, The Beautiful Game Autographs, and The Beautiful Game Dual Autographs, which feature two player signatures on one card.
Relic Cards
The two categories Kit Kings & Kit Series include the 100 different Memorabilia Cards of the collection. These contain a jersey piece from one of today’s stars or a legend and can only be pulled from the packs inside the Hobby Boxes.
Availability
Each Hobby Box contains 360 cards, divided into 12 packs of 30 cards each. Among them are one Autograph Card and one Memorabilia Card.
The slightly later released Hobby International Boxes offer collectors exclusive Parallels of the Optic and Autograph Cards, such as the Optic Argyle, Optic Plum Blossom, Optic Dragon Scale, or Optic Black Pandora Parallels.
Additionally, there are three different Blasters, each featuring exclusive Cubic Parallels, as well as Fat-Pack Boxes with 12 Fat-Packs, which also include Parallels found only there.
The release date announced by Panini for 2024-25 PANINI Donruss Soccer Cards is Friday, the 24th of January 2025.
The boxes can be purchased either directly from Panini America or from retailers specializing in Sports Cards.
