With the 2024-25 TOPPS Blue Moon Manchester City Soccer Cards, a new set dedicated to the reigning English champions is being released. The box, similar to a Team Set but featuring significantly more premium Cards, brings fans of the Cityzens an Autograph Card and 2 numbered Parallels for their collection.
Description
With a new set dedicated to the current English title holders Manchester City FC, Topps brings the fans of the Cityzens closer to the team of the 2024/25 season. The collection, structured similarly to the Team Sets from previous years, is designed to give collectors a deeper connection to the rich history of the ten-time English champions. It includes special moments and outstanding players, all reflecting the culture and spirit of Blue Moon, the club’s iconic anthem.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the 2024-25 TOPPS Blue Moon Manchester City Soccer Cards contains 50 Cards and has been divided by Topps into three Subsets: Manchester Blue, Blue Moon Dreamers and Gold Moon. Unlike the Team Sets, Topps uses significantly thicker and higher-quality 55pt Cards for the Blue Moon Set.
Parallels
For these Cards, 8 different Parallel variants have been produced, numbered to /125, /99, /50, /25, /15, /5 and 1/1. They are joined by the non-numbered Lunar Dust Parallel variant, which is included once per Blue Moon Box.
Insert Cards
Collectors can look forward to a total of 5 Insert categories in the collection. The Moonshine Inserts with a spotlight on the club’s stars, the Sail Away Inserts paying tribute to the historic ship on the club crest, and the Total Eclipse Cards, which are included only once per Case.
Topps has come up with something special with the 8-card The Haaland Lunar Phases Insert Set. For each of these Cards, there are 8 descending-numbered Parallel variants showing the Norwegian superstar across the different lunar phases.
Another special highlight for collectors are the unique artist-drawn Sketch Cards, for which Topps unfortunately does not state how many exist or which players are included in the collection.
Autograph Cards
The 42 different Autograph Cards from current stars of the men’s and women’s teams, the most promising young talents and the greatest legends of the club have been divided by Topps into two categories that adopt the design of the Base Card Kategorien of the same names: the Manchester Blue Autographs and the Gold Moon Autographs.
Availability
Each Manchester City Blue Moon Box contains 45 Cards, divided into 6 Packs with 5 Cards each. Among the 45 Cards of every Box, there are always 3 Parallel Cards and 1 Autograph Card.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Blue Moon Manchester City Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 13th of November 2024.
The Blue Moon Hobby Boxes will be available in the European online shops of Topps and from retailers specializing in Sportscards.
