Description
With the almost simultaneous release of several team collections dedicated to national soccer teams, Panini is bringing the Luminance brand, which until now has mainly been used for American football, into the world of soccer cards. Alongside the Luminance cards dedicated to the German national soccer team, Panini is also releasing collections for the national teams of England and France.
Collectors and fans of the German men’s national team can look forward to 1 Autograph Card in each box of 2026 PANINI Luminance Germany Soccer Cards, featuring not only current stars but also legends from years gone by, such as Paul Breitner, Wolfgang Overath, Pierre Littbarski and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Base Cards
The BASE SET of the collection consists of a total of 40 cards and is divided into the HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL subsets, each comprising 20 cards and named according to the orientation of the image. Every Hobby Box in the collection contains the complete Base Set.
Parallels
Panini has created a total of 6 numbered parallel variants for the cards, with the highest numbering being /85 for Magenta. These are followed by the significantly lower-numbered Orange (/25), Gold (/10), Green (/5), Vivid (/2) tiers and the Black Parallel, which exists only once per card as a 1-of-1. Collectors should find an average of 4 numbered parallel cards in each Hobby Box.
Insert Cards
The collection is expanded by 5 themed insert categories. The DYNAMIC and MONTAGE inserts, each with 6 parallel variants, can be found more frequently in the packs. The ANIMATION, LUMINOSITY and MOMENTS insert cards, on the other hand, are considerably rarer.
Autograph Cards
In addition to the 25 different BASE AUTOGRAPHS, collectors can also find signed versions of the two insert designs Dynamic and Montage in the collection’s packs. The autograph cards feature not only current German internationals such as Kai Havertz, Joshua Kimmich, Deniz Undav and Nick Woltemade, but also national team legends such as Michael Ballack, Rudi Völler and Franz Beckenbauer.
The highlights of the collection are the two DUAL AUTOGRAPH CARDS featuring the signatures of Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala, as well as Oliver Kahn and Manuel Neuer, which can only be found in the packs as Gold Parallels.
Availability
Each Hobby Box of 2026 PANINI Luminance Germany Soccer Cards contains 60 cards, distributed across 10 packs with 6 cards each. According to Panini, these should include an average of 1 Autograph Card and 4 numbered parallel cards.
A specific release date has not yet been announced and will be added here once confirmed.
From the official release date, the boxes will be available from Panini or retailers specializing in sports cards.
