Description
With the 2026 TOPPS Triumphant Tennis Cards, Topps enters the second year of its premium tennis brand. A key feature of the collection is the high proportion of autograph cards and the small overall print run, meaning that all cards are numbered no higher than /99.
With its compact checklist, the collection focuses on the tour’s top stars, such as Carlos Alcaraz, Ben Shelton, Aryna Sabalenka and freshly crowned US Open champion Elena Rybakina, as well as prominent players from earlier eras such as John McEnroe, Steffi Graf, Björn Borg and Martina Navratilova. Collectors will, however, have to do without current US Open champion Alexander Zverev as well as ATP No. 1 Jannik Sinner.
Base Cards
The BASE SET of the collection is limited to 50 cards featuring current stars and legends and is 25 cards smaller than last year’s edition. The two rookies João Fonseca and Talia Gibson receive their first Triumphant card.
Parallels
Topps has not yet published any details on the parallel variants. However, these will presumably cover a similar range to last year’s edition.
Autograph Cards
Autograph cards are the main focus of the collection. Accordingly, each of the 50 base cards also has a corresponding signed counterpart.
Particular highlights are the autograph cards that combine the signatures of several stars on a single card. Collectors can look forward to DYNAMIC DOUBLES AUTOGRAPHS featuring the signatures of 2 stars, TRIUMPHANT TRIOS AUTOGRAPHS with 3 signatures and the new GRAND SLAM QUAD AUTOGRAPHS, released exclusively as 1-of-1 cards, featuring the signatures of 4 greats of the sport.
Availability
A specific release date has not yet been announced and will be added here once confirmed.
Topps is launching the box pre-sale on September 18, allowing tennis fans to secure their copy in advance. It is worth noting that last year Topps did not run its otherwise usual sale on the official release date in its own online shop, so collectors interested in the boxes should not necessarily count on it.
