Description
After a short break, Topps is continuing the Fan Set series with a set dedicated to the German record champions. With the 2024-25 TOPPS FC Bayern München Official Fan Set Soccer Cards, fans of German club football can also enjoy opening a Fan Set dedicated to a Bundesliga club for the first time this season.
In the Fan Set series, developed mainly for newcomers to the hobby, sets have already been released for Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and FC Red Bull Salzburg. Sets for Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United have also been announced for the coming weeks.
As an affordable entry-level option, the Topps Fan Sets serve as the precursor to the Team Sets released somewhat later. Positioned in the next higher price bracket, these usually come with somewhat more extensive content and a greater chance of autograph cards, and some also include memorabilia cards.
Base Cards
All Fan Sets for the 2024/25 season use an identical design, which is slightly customized with the respective club colors. At the heart of each Fan Set is a base set consisting of 20 cards, featuring the most important players from the current season’s squad.
Parallels
Topps provides no further details about the parallel variants included in the boxes and leaves collectors in the dark as to which numbered parallels can be pulled.
Insert Cards
The base cards are joined by four insert categories featuring small themed sets. These include the Golden Future inserts already known from the previous year’s Fan Sets, featuring up-and-coming young players, and the Golden Treasures, which are One-of-One cards and exist only once per player across the entire print run. New for the 24/25 season are the Fanatic Fans and Monolith inserts.
Autograph Cards
Particularly lucky collectors can, in addition to the two parallels, find another foil trading card in their box containing the autograph of one of FC Bayern’s current top stars or a club legend. However, Topps provides no further details on the frequency of autograph cards in the 2024-25 TOPPS FC Bayern München Official Fan Set boxes.
Availability
In each FC Bayern Fan Set 2024/25 box, collectors will find 28 cards in a pre-packed pack. Alongside a colorful mix of base and insert cards, the pack also contains the two parallel cards guaranteed in every 2024-25 TOPPS FC Bayern München Fan Set box, one of which is always an unnumbered Electro parallel and the other a numbered parallel card.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS FC Bayern München Official Fan Set Soccer Cards is Monday, the 2nd of December 2024.
From that date, the FC Bayern Fan Set 2024/25 boxes will be available from Topps through its own online shops in Europe, in the FC Bayern München fan shops and from retailers specializing in sports cards.
