2024-25 TOPPS International Stars Bundesliga Soccer Cards

Release Date:

For the fifth time, Topps presents collectors with the international stars of the Bundesliga in a set created especially for this purpose. This year, the 2024-25 TOPPS International Stars Bundesliga Soccer Cards boxes contain, in addition to two numbered Parallels, a guaranteed Autograph Card for the first time.

Description

Around 50% of the players competing in the Bundesliga are legionnaires, to whom Topps is dedicating its own Trading Cards Set for the fifth time. The 2024-25 TOPPS International Stars Bundesliga Soccer Cards present collectors with the best international stars from the squads of all 18 Bundesliga clubs.

For the first time in the history of Bundesliga International Stars, one Autograph Card is guaranteed per box. Particularly lucky collectors even have the chance to find an additional bonus Autograph Card of a German national team player in their box.

Base Cards

This year’s Base Set comprises a total of 74 Cards, representing a slight increase compared to last year’s edition. It is divided into the two subsets International Stars and Dual International Stars.

The International Stars subset consists of 54 Cards and includes 3 players from each of the eighteen Bundesliga clubs. However, the Cards of these players do not share the same visual design, meaning that each team features 3 different Base Card designs (one design per player), without Topps providing any information as to whether this has any additional significance.

In addition, several teams are represented with one or more Cards in the Dual International Stars subset, which comprises 20 Cards and presents two players from the same club and the same home country on one trading card.

Parallels

Topps has produced six different Parallel variants for these Cards, numbered to /99, /49, /25, /10, /5, and 1/1. As is customary with Topps On-Demand Sets, no further details are provided as to whether every Card is available in every variant.

Autograph Cards

Topps has obtained signatures from a total of 70 different players for the Autograph Cards of the Topps Bundesliga International Stars 2024/25 set. The Cards featuring autographs are distributed across all 18 clubs, ensuring that every Bundesliga fan has the chance to pull an Autograph Card of their own team from the packs.

In addition to the Base Autographs featuring a single signature, collectors can also pull Dual Autograph Cards from the packs, featuring the signatures of two players of the same nationality who play for the same Bundesliga team.

As bonus autographs, Topps has added the thematically slightly different German Internationals Autographs to the collection, which include autographs from 11 German national team players.

Availability

Each box of the 2024-25 TOPPS International Stars Bundesliga Soccer Cards contains 30 Cards, distributed across six packs with 5 Cards each. These include two Parallel Cards numbered to /99 or lower and one Autograph Card.

As expected, the guaranteed Autograph Card makes itself noticeable in the price of the boxes. Compared to the previous year, and with otherwise identical contents, the retail price increases by 20 euros.

The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS International Stars Bundesliga Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 15th of January 2025.

Initially, Topps is offering the Bundesliga International Stars 2024/25 boxes exclusively through its own online shops in Germany and the United Kingdom. After the production and delivery period of approximately 4–6 weeks, they will also be available from retailers specializing in Sports Cards.
