2024-25 TOPPS Knockout UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards
After a one-year break, the Knockout Cards return to the UEFA Women’s Champions League in the Topps lineup. Fans of European women’s football can look forward to two numbered Parallel Cards and one Autograph Card in every 2024-25 Topps Knockout UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards box.
Description
At the start of the knockout phase of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, Topps brings the Knockout On-Demand Set back to collectors after another one-year pause. The 8 teams that compete in the UWCL quarterfinals and form the core of this set were determined in the traditional group stage, unlike the men’s competition. The women will switch to the new UEFA competition format next year.
The 2024-25 TOPPS Knockout UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards are the third set in this series due to the two-year rhythm, while the recently released men’s Knockout Set has already appeared for the fifth time this year.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the Topps UWCL Knockout 2024/25 collection grows by 10 Cards compared to the previous edition and now includes a total of 50 Cards. Alongside 32 standard Base Cards, four for each team represented in the UWCL quarterfinals, Topps has added two areas to the set: Star Player (8 Cards) featuring the top players of the competition, and Rookies (10 Cards) showcasing the best young talents.
Parallels
For the Knockout Set of the women, Topps also uses the six typical Parallel variants found in the Base Cards of On-Demand Sets: /99, /49, /25, /10, /5 and 1/1. Each box contains two of these numbered Parallel variants of the Base Cards. For the Autograph Cards, the highest numbering of /99 is omitted; these are numbered up to a maximum of /49. The Bonus Dual Autographs are numbered up to a maximum of /10.
Autograph Cards
The biggest change in the Knockout Cards for the UEFA Women’s Champions League is the return to one Autograph Card per box, after only every third box included one of these sought-after cards last year.
In addition, Topps places one Bonus Dual Autograph Card in roughly every 16th box of the collection. This means some lucky buyers will find two Autograph Cards in their box.
Availability
While the price of the boxes increases to 75 €, Topps reduces the total number of cards in the boxes by 10, resulting in 30 Cards distributed across 6 packs with 5 Cards each.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Knockout UEFA Women's Champions League Soccer Cards is Tuesday, the 18th of March 2025.
The Topps UWCL Knockout 2024/25 boxes will initially be available exclusively in the Topps online shop. After production and shipping of the boxes, which takes around 6 to 8 weeks, they will also be available from retailers specializing in Sports Cards.
