For the third time, collectors of premium trading cards can enjoy a Topps Lineage release. To celebrate the 120th anniversary of the English club from Stamford Bridge, the 2024-25 TOPPS Lineage Chelsea FC 120 Years Anniversary Edition Soccer Cards showcase young talents, current stars, and some of the club’s greatest legends.
Description
Following the two Lineage Sets dedicated to Liverpool FC and the Argentinian national team, Chelsea FC is the next historic English club in the spotlight of Topps’ latest Lineage product, which aims to win over Blues fans with high-quality Autograph and Autograph Relic Cards.
With the 2024-25 TOPPS Lineage Chelsea FC 120 Years Anniversary Edition Soccer Cards, Topps also celebrates the 120-year history of the club, which was founded on 10 March 1905 at the London pub “The Rising Sun” (now “Butcher’s Hook”), just a short distance from the current stadium.
Base Cards
The collection consists of a 50-card Base Set, divided by Topps into three subsets: Bowman Prospects, Icons, and Legends.
Parallels
Topps has not provided any detailed information on the Parallel versions produced for the 2024-25 Chelsea Lineage Cards. The Parallels listed in the following checklist were determined based on sightings of individual cards and should be understood as a rough guide for other cards within the same category.
Insert Cards
The collection is expanded by two insert categories: the Badges of The Bridge Inserts, which feature club crests from different eras, and the Lenticular Lineage Inserts, already familiar from the Argentina collection.
Autograph & Autograph Relic Cards
A special highlight for Blues fans are the on-card Autograph Cards of long-time captain and all-time top scorer Frank Lampard, which lucky collectors can find in their boxes.
Availability
Each Topps Chelsea Lineage Box contains 10 cards. Seven of these are Base and Insert Cards, which Topps combines in one pack. In addition, three Autograph or Autograph Relic Cards are included in magnet holders inside the boxes.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024/25 TOPPS Lineage Chelsea FC 120 Years Anniversary Edition Soccer Cards is Tuesday, the 13th of May 2025.
The Topps Lineage Chelsea 2024/25 Boxes will initially be available exclusively through the Topps Online-Shop. At a later stage, they may also become available from specialized sports cards retailers.
