For the first time, Topps is releasing a team set for the English Premier League club Manchester United. In the boxes of the 2024-25 TOPPS Manchester United Official Team Set Soccer Cards collection, collectors will find as the highlight either an Autograph, Relic or Autograph Relic Card featuring current stars and legends of the historic club from Old Trafford.
Description
The team sets from Topps return to England on their tour through the European leagues and, after the sets for FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Bayern Munich and a set for the Argentine national team, collectors now receive cards for the historic Manchester United for the first time. More team sets for European top clubs will follow during the season.
The team sets, unlike the fan sets designed for newcomers to the hobby, offer a higher chance of Autograph Cards and also integrate Relic Cards and Autograph Relic Cards into the collection. Buyers of a 2024-25 TOPPS Manchester United Official Team Set Soccer Cards box can look forward to a guaranteed Autograph, Relic or Autograph Relic Card from stars of the current squad or from some of the greatest legends of the Red Devils.
Base Cards
The base set of the Manchester United Team Set 2024/25 collection includes 50 Cards, with about half dedicated to players from the current squad and the other half spread across three smaller sub-sets, which also include players from the women’s team of United. Theatre of Dreams features former and current club legends who have captured the hearts of fans around the world. Consequential brings together some of the most important goalscorers of the Red Devils, and Bona Fide Ballers showcases the club’s emerging and former stars.
Parallels
For the base cards of the 2024-25 TOPPS Manchester United Official Team Set, Topps has produced 7 different parallel versions, six of which are numbered to /150 or lower. These are joined by the unnumbered Static Parallels, with one included in every box.
Insert Cards
Also in the Topps ManUnited Team Set collection, collectors will find cards from 3 insert categories. Joining the Rainbow Flick and Pathway inserts, already known from the other team sets released this season, are the unique Born & Bred inserts, produced exclusively for this team set.
Autograph, Relic & Autograph Relic Cards
Each box contains an Autograph Card, a Relic Card or an Autograph Relic Card featuring a star from the current squad or one of the club’s major legends.
The highlight of the Topps Manchester United Team Set is the Devils in Glory Autograph Relic Cards, featuring embedded jersey pieces and a signature. These One-of-One Cards appear only once per player in the entire collection.
Availability
Each Manchester United Official Team Set 24/25 box contains 30 Cards, split into 6 Packs with 5 Cards each. Collectors who wish to complete the base set therefore need at least 2 ManUnited Team Set boxes.
