The second product from Topps’ new high-end Palatial series is dedicated to the Royals from Madrid. In the boxes of the 2024-25 TOPPS Palatial Real Madrid C.F. Soccer Cards collection there are 4 autograph, relic or autograph relic cards, as well as 1 insert card.
Description
Topps’ new Palatial line with diamond-set cards makes a stop in Madrid and provides Real Madrid fans with luxurious collectibles of their favorite stars. The cards of the 2024/25 Topps Palatial Real Madrid C.F. Soccer collection honor the glorious past and successful present of the 15-time European titleholder and are aimed especially at the well-heeled among the passionate fans of the Galácticos.
The Real Madrid Palatial cards are the second release from Topps under this still quite new brand. Previously, a set for the traditional English club Liverpool FC had already been released.
In terms of content, the Palatial collection for the Spanish capital club offers a mix of current stars and significant club legends who, through their impact, have contributed to the magical aura and long-term success of the club across different eras.
Insert Cards
As with the Liverpool collection, Topps dispenses with the term base cards and uses only the term insert cards in the collection. The inserts thus take the place of the otherwise usual base cards. Per box there is one insert card numbered at most to /15 from the four theme categories Montage Moments, Palatial Home, Palatial Prestige and Santiago Bernabéu Ovation.
Autograph Cards
The remaining 4 cards of each 2024-25 TOPPS Palatial Real Madrid C.F. Soccer Cards box are either autograph, relic or autograph relic cards. The autograph cards are numbered at most to /25 and thus underline the exclusivity of this collection.
For the autograph cards, Topps has created five theme areas: the Montage Moments Autographs honor decisive moments that have contributed to the club’s sustained success across different eras. The dazzling Palatial Pose Autographs bring the spirit of the club and the royal flair to life.
The Palatial Pride Autographs honor Real Madrid’s “never say die” attitude, which has run through generations of players, and the Santiago Bernabéu Ovation Autographs celebrate the special bond between fans and players during goal celebrations in Madrid’s legendary stadium.
For Real Madrid’s most promising youngster Endrick, a separate category within the collection was created with the Rookie Royalty Autograph.
Relic Cards
The unique Diamante Blancos Relics combine diamonds with a match-worn or player-worn jersey piece and bring collectors closer than ever to the history of “Los Merengues”. Each of the relic cards exists as a one-of-one card only once per player in the entire collection.
Autograph Relic Cards
The highlight of the Topps Real Madrid C.F. Palatial 24/25 collection is the autograph relic cards, which, in addition to the players’ signatures, feature gemstones embedded into the card. As with the autograph cards, there are also 5 thematic categories here in which current stars and great legends are honored in an especially luxurious way:
The Debut Diamond Autograph Relics honor some of the most brilliant debuts in the Royals’ jersey with two diamonds per card. The Decagem Autograph Relics incorporate ten different gemstones – a homage to the legendary “number 10s” who have shaped Real Madrid’s play over the years. The No 9s Autograph Relics are dedicated to the club’s greatest goalscorers and shine with nine diamonds per card, and in the Royal Madrid Autograph Relics the iconic club crest with the Spanish royal crown is at the center of the elegant design.
Once again, the Brazilian exceptional talent Endrick is specially highlighted: the Rookie Royalty Autograph Relic Card created for him is set with 16 diamonds – a reference to his squad number with the Royals. Per case there is either an autograph or an autograph relic card of Real Madrid’s spectacular new signing.
Availability
To ensure the high-quality cards arrive well protected to collectors, they are packed as so-called “encased cards”, that is, enclosed by magnetic holders, into the Palatial boxes.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Palatial Real Madrid C.F. Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 21st of May 2025.
The Topps Real Madrid Palatial 2024/25 boxes will be available from that time in the Topps online shop and from retailers specializing in sports cards.
