The 2025-26 TOPPS Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards are Topps’ most extensive release to date dedicated to the European club competitions. Collectors can expect a significantly broader range of products than in previous years.
Description
With the 2025-26 TOPPS Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards, Topps presents its most important release among the annual collections dedicated to European club football shortly before the end of the current season.
Collectors can look forward to a comprehensive product range for the collection. In addition to standard hobby boxes and familiar formats such as Jumbo, Breaker’s Delight, Blaster and Hanger boxes, three new variants are introduced this year with the Mega Box, the FDI (First Day Issue) Box and the FFNYC Box for the Fanatics Fest 2026 in New York. Also announced again are a Logofractor variant, the Hongbao boxes intended exclusively for the Asian market, and the Sapphire Edition, which traditionally releases about one month after the main release.
The First Day Issue boxes will open the pre-sale for the collection in the United States on April 2, 2026 and offer exclusive base card and autograph card parallels. The boxes are offered in a Dutch auction format with a starting price of $800, which then decreases at set time intervals until the boxes are sold out. Topps has announced April 7 for the pre-sale of the standard products, while product delivery is not expected before early May.
Base Cards
The BASE SET of the collection consists of 200 cards featuring stars and young talents from the teams that competed in the 2025/26 season of the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League.
Parallels
Over 60 parallel variants turn the collection into a colorful collecting experience. Many of them can only be found in specific products of the collection, some even exclusively in just one product.
In general, the parallels can be grouped by pattern and can be found in the following products.
- Standard color parallels: Hobby Box, Jumbo Box, FDI Box, Blaster Box and FFNYC Box
- Geometric parallels: Breaker’s Delight Box
- Hongbao parallels: Hongbao Box
- Lava parallels: Hobby, Jumbo, FDI and FFNYC
- Mini-Diamonds parallels: Blaster Box, Hanger Box
- Starball parallels: Logofractor Box
- X-Fractor parallels: Mega Box
Insert Cards
More than 20 different insert categories can be discovered in the collection. Among the more common inserts are the BOWMAN UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE, LAST DANCE, POWER PLAYERS, SILENCED and WONDERKIDS inserts.
Much rarer in packs and therefore always a special hit are the ANIME, BUDAPEST AT NIGHT, CHAMPION, HELIX, RADIATING ROOKIES, SHADOW ETCH, TROPHY, ULTRA VIOLET and VENI VIDI VICI insert cards.
Product-exclusive are the BIG APPLE (FFNYC Box), BIONIC (Blaster Box), METAVERSE (Mega Box), SHOOTING FOR THE STARS (FFNYC Box), STARBALL LEGENDS (Logofractor Box) and YOUTHQUAKE (Breaker’s Delight Box) inserts.
Autograph Cards
Topps also offers collectors numerous different categories for autograph cards. Naturally, the majority of autographs with 108 different signers can be found in the Chrome BASE AUTOGRAPH cards.
They are complemented by the FUTURE STARS autographs featuring the best players from last year’s rookie class and the LEGENDS featuring players who have left their mark on European club competitions in past years.
The number of players per card is increased with the DUAL, TRIPLE and QUAD AUTOGRAPHS, allowing collectors to secure signatures from multiple stars on a single card.
Particularly sought-after among collectors, in addition to the MARKS OF EXCELLENCE AUTOGRAPHS, are likely to be the SUPERIORS SIGNATURES, as both categories include on-card autographs of the stars.
Additional categories include the BOWMAN UEFA YOUTH LEAGUE and the ROAD TO GLORY AUTOGRAPHS.
Special collectibles are offered by the PIECE OF CLUB HISTORY AUTOGRAPH BOOKS, which contain the signatures of 6 club legends in one autograph book card.
Product-exclusive are the BLACK LAZER AUTOGRAPHS (Jumbo boxes), the GLOBAL ATTRACTION AUTOGRAPHS (Breaker’s Delight boxes), SHOOTING FOR THE STARS AUTOGRAPHS (FFNYC boxes), STARBALL LEGENDS AUTOGRAPHS (Logofractor boxes).
Topps also makes a venture into the entertainment field with the UCL FINAL PERFORMERS AUTOGRAPHS, which include autographs from members of the band Linkin Park, who performed at the UEFA Champions League Final 2025 as part of the pre-game show at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
Availability
The hobby boxes of the 2025-26 TOPPS Chrome UCC collection contain 80 cards, distributed across 20 packs with 4 cards each. Topps guarantees one autograph card per box.
Jumbo boxes offer a larger configuration, while Mega, Blaster and Hanger boxes provide a more affordable entry into the collection.
Exclusively reserved for certain groups or regions are the Breaker’s Delight, Hongbao, FFNYC and possibly also the Logofractor boxes.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025-26 TOPPS Chrome UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards is Tuesday, the 5th of May 2026. Short-term changes to this date are possible at any time and should be taken into account.
From that point on, the boxes will be available in the Topps online shop or through retailers specialized in sports cards.
