2025-26 TOPPS Finest Premier League Soccer Cards

Release Date:

The 2025-26 TOPPS FINEST Premier League Soccer Cards bring the next collection featuring the stars of England’s top league to collectors. They can look forward to 2 Autograph Cards per hobby box.

Description

The Finest cards for the English Premier League celebrate their premiere at Topps and present collectors with the current stars and most promising young talents from all 20 teams in the league, as well as some of the greatest legends of English football.

In addition, collectors can go on the hunt for autographs from prominent fans of the teams, such as Samuel L. Jackson, Charlize Theron, Millie Bobby Brown, or On-Card Autograph Cards from basketball superstar LeBron James.

Base Cards

The base set of the 2025-26 Topps Finest Premier League collection includes 300 cards and is divided into the three tiers Common, Uncommon and Rare, each with different levels of rarity. While the 100 players from the Common subset reappear on the Uncommon cards, the 100 cards of the Rare subset add 98 additional players to the collection.

Parallels

For the cards in the collection, Topps has produced 13 different parallel variants, although Topps has not yet announced their numbering.

Insert Cards

A total of 12 different insert categories await collectors. Four of them, ARRIVALS, CLEAN, EXPECTED BRILLIANCE and SWERVE, can be found more frequently in packs. For these, Topps has inexplicably only published combined pack odds, which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the frequency of the cards in each category. A new practice that Topps has already received criticism for with the Chrome cards of the English Premier League.

One card from these so-called Common Inserts can be found in every 2nd pack of the collection, and the pack odds for the parallels also apply to all categories combined: Gold (1:46 packs), Orange (1:92), Black (1:229), Red (1:458), SuperFractor (1:2297).

Significantly rarer in packs are the AURA (1:437), GUSTO (1:100), HEADLINERS (1:437), MAIN ATTRACTION (1:364), NIGHTMARE FUEL (1:546) and POLKA (1:437) inserts.

A special type of insert are the FINEST IDOLS, which can be pulled from packs in the three variations Bronze, Silver or Gold.

A classic of every Finest collection are the Fusion Variations, which in this collection are available for the Swerve inserts. These SWERVE FUSION cards, featuring a color explosion in the background, are significantly rarer than the regular Swerve inserts and are highly sought-after collectibles among fans of Finest collections.

Autograph Cards

With 8 autograph card categories, a wide range awaits Premier League fans. The FINEST AUTOGRAPHS, which correspond to the base autographs of other collections, represent the largest category of the 2026 Topps Finest Premier League collection with 89 cards.

They are complemented by autograph cards featuring the designs of the insert categories Arrivals, Main Attraction and Gusto, the latter of which Topps has given the catchy name Gustographs. Additional categories include the FINEST MOMENTS AUTOGRAPHS with legends of the league and the FINEST PARTNERSHIPS DUAL AUTOGRAPHS featuring two signers on one card. Also part of the collection are the FINEST SEASONS AUTOGRAPHS, for which, due to differing information from Topps, it is not yet entirely clear whether they refer to the seasons 1995/96 or 1996/97.

A special category that also makes the collection interesting for collectors outside of football are the FINEST FANS AUTOGRAPHS, which bring autographs from prominent actors, singers, presenters or athletes from other sports into the collection. Among them are, for example, former rugby star Joe Marler, presenter Laura Woods or the singers Mel B and Mel C, known from the Spice Girls. The highlight of this category, however, is undoubtedly the On-Card Autograph Cards of basketball icon LeBron James.

Availability

Each hobby box of the Topps Finest Premier League 2026 collection contains 60 cards, distributed across 6 packs with 10 cards each. According to Topps, these always include 2 Autograph Cards.

The release date announced by Topps for 2025-26 TOPPS Finest Premier League Soccer Cards is Thursday, the 23rd of April 2026. Short-term changes to this date are possible at any time and should be taken into account.

The boxes will be available from that point in the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sports cards. During an initial pre-sale phase, interested collectors were already able to secure a hobby box of the collection on March 24 at a price of €300.00 / $289.99 / £260.00.
