Topps Focus Cards return with a release dedicated to the Argentina national team. Collectors can look forward to stunning images of current stars as well as legendary figures of Argentine football in the 2025 TOPPS Focus Argentina Soccer Cards collection.
Description
Topps celebrated a successful debut for the Focus series last year with the FC Barcelona release. The series is strongly inspired by photography and – similar to the Stadium Club releases – impresses with extraordinary images of the stars. About one and a half years later, the second collection under this label is being launched with 2025 TOPPS Focus Argentina Soccer Cards, this time dedicated to the Argentina national team.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the Argentina Focus collection consists of 50 Cards divided into four sub-sets. Snapshots focuses on current stars and young talents from the squad, while also including several legends of Argentine football. Full-Bleed stands out with full-frame imagery, and Moments in Time: Messi pays tribute to the exceptional career of Lionel Messi with the national team. Rounding off the Base Set are the Golden Hour Cards, which show the stars in moments filled with joy.
Parallels
Compared to the debut release, Topps has doubled the number of parallel versions for the Argentina Focus collection. A total of 14 different variants are waiting to be pulled from the packs by collectors. Each Box contains one unnumbered Shutter Speed Parallel, while all other parallels are numbered to /99 or lower.
Insert Cards
The Topps Argentina Focus collection is expanded with two insert sets: Motion Blur, whose dynamic design is inspired by the speed of the game, and Special Effects, which puts the spotlight on two of Argentina’s most iconic players: Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi.
Autograph Cards
In addition to the Snapshot and Golden Hour Autographs based on the Base Card-Designs, the Argent Autographs offer collectors another autograph category that features a striking metallic look.
Other highlights include the Synergy Dual Autographs, which capture a special moment between two players, both signing the same card, as well as the Chromatic Distortion Autographs, true One-of-One Cards that exist only once in the entire print run of the collection.
Autograph Relic Cards
The Cutaway Signature Relic Cards promise to be a very special keepsake of some of Argentina’s greatest footballers, as they feature documents with the players’ signatures that are embedded directly into the card.
Availability
Each Focus Argentina Box contains 1 Pack with 15 Cards. Inside, collectors will find 1 Autograph Card, 2 Parallel Cards numbered to /99 or lower, and 1 unnumbered Shutter Speed Parallel Card that appears once per Box.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Focus Argentina Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 1st of October 2025.
From that date, the Cards will be available in Topps’ European online shops as well as through specialized sports card retailers.
