With the 2025 TOPPS Mint Disney Trading Cards, the imaginative world of Disney comes to collectors on premium trading cards. In addition to a 100-card base set, some boxes also include autograph cards from the actors and voice actors of beloved Disney movie characters.
Description
For the first time, Topps is releasing Trading Cards under the MINT label featuring characters from the popular Disney and Pixar films. In each box of the 2025 TOPPS Mint Disney Trading Cards, collectors will find one pack with 10 cards as well as one additional card encased in a Magholder.
This specially packaged card contains the top hit of the respective box, which can range from a wide selection of numbered parallels and special inserts to autograph cards from Hollywood stars such as Tom Hanks or Keira Knightley.
Visitors to the New York Comic Con (NYCC), which takes place from October 9–12 in the American East Coast metropolis, will be able to take an early look at the cards three weeks before the official release date. At the Topps booth, the specially produced and exclusively available 2025 TOPPS Disney Mint NYCC Boxes will be on sale. These offer the chance to pull one of the product-exclusive Magic Lamp Inserts featuring Genie from Disney’s Aladdin, each numbered to a maximum of /99.
Base Cards
The base set of the collection consists of 120 cards, divided – with increasing rarity – into four subsets: Bronze (3–4 cards per pack), Silver (3 cards per pack), Gold (2 cards per pack), and the Platinum cards numbered to /99 (1:10 packs).
All base cards come in a standard version finished with a holofoil layer, giving them the typical rainbow shimmer usually only found on parallels in other collections.
Topps has also produced additional Base Chrome Variation Cards for all 120 base cards. These are significantly rarer, feature a wave pattern in the standard version, and are numbered to /100 (Bronze), /75 (Silver), /50 (Gold), and /25 (Platinum).
Parallels
For the Bronze, Silver, and Gold base cards, Topps has produced six parallel versions numbered to /75 or lower. The parallels of the Platinum cards are much rarer and limited to a maximum of /10. Among them is also the most striking difference between the Hobby and NYCC Boxes: the Black Electric Dots parallels of the Platinum cards are exclusive to the Hobby Boxes, while the Red & Blue Electric Dots parallels are exclusive to the NYCC Boxes.
Topps has also inserted all four printing plates (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black) for each base card into the packs as true 1/1s.
Additionally, three low-numbered parallel variants were produced for the Base Chrome Variations: numbered to /10 (Black), /5 (Red), and as the classic SuperFractor parallel numbered 1/1.
Insert Cards
Three very different insert sets can be found in the Disney Mint 2025 collection. The Queen of Hearts Acetate Playing Cards take collectors into the world of Alice in Wonderland, forming a complete 52-card playing deck printed on transparent acetate cards. Each of these cards is limited to 125 copies.
The Sketch Cards featuring hand-drawn artwork represent one of the chase categories of the collection. However, Topps has not disclosed further details regarding the number of cards, designs, or artists. Each Sketch Card is a unique 1/1 piece and a true highlight for any Disney card collection.
The Magic Lamp Insert Card featuring Genie from Aladdin represents the third insert category and is available exclusively in the NYCC Boxes.
Autograph Cards
A special celebrity touch is added by the Chrome Autograph Cards, which include internationally acclaimed movie stars such as Melissa McCarthy, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Tom Hanks. Some appear as live-action actors (e.g. Pirates of the Caribbean), others as voice actors for characters from Disney’s beloved animated films.
The 25 different autograph cards are each numbered to a maximum of /75, making them particularly difficult to find in boxes of this collection.
Relic & Autograph Relic Cards
Topps has also included a unique Cut Signature Relic Card honoring Adriana Caselotti, the late voice of Snow White from the 1937 classic.
In addition, Topps has embedded comic strips from a Scrooge McDuck comic into cards. This resulted in 200 unique cards, each one different from the others and therefore individually numbered 1/1.
Availability
Both product variants of the collection (Hobby Boxes and NYCC Boxes) contain one pack with 10 cards, including one numbered parallel. Each box also contains one encased card as the main hit. To avoid confusion between both products, Topps has given the NYCC Boxes a different Disney design than the Hobby Boxes, which will be released about three weeks later.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Mint Disney Trading Cards is Friday, the 31st of October 2025.
Starting from this date, Hobby Boxes will be available through the EQL system in the Topps online stores or from retailers specializing in trading cards.
