Description
What Inception cards are to football, Eccellenza cards are to Formula 1 at Topps. Appearing for the second time for the 2024 season, Topps is once again offering the cards exclusively through its own Italian online shop.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the 2024 TOPPS Eccellenza Formula 1 Racing Cards collection consists of 102 cards, an increase of 28 cards compared to the previous year’s edition. Topps has divided the Base Cards into 7 Subsets, featuring not only the current drivers from the 2024 season, but also team personnel, race cars, Dual Team Cards with both drivers from a team and cards featuring some of the greatest legends of Formula 1.
Parallels
Topps has produced 7 Parallel variants for the Base Cards, numbered to /99 or lower. As is usual with Topps On-Demand Sets, this does not necessarily mean that every Parallel variant has been produced for every card.
Autograph & Relic Cards
Each box of the F1 Topps Eccellenza 2024 collection contains 1 pack with 7 cards. These always include 1 Relic Card featuring a piece of a racing suit, gloves or shoes worn in a race (Race worn), as well as 2 numbered Parallel cards.
Particularly lucky collectors may also pull an Autograph Card featuring a current driver or a Formula 1 legend from a Formula 1 Eccellenza box. According to Topps, the odds of finding such a card in a box are an average of 1:14 boxes.
A particular highlight of the set are the Dual and Quad Book Cards, which combine autographs or Relics from several drivers on a single premium trading card.
Availability
The release date announced by Topps for 2024 TOPPS Eccellenza Formula 1 Racing Cards is Monday, the 30th of December 2024.
The Eccellenza F1 2024 boxes are available exclusively through the Topps Italy online shop. After production and delivery, which takes around 6-8 weeks, they should also be available from retailers specializing in Sports Cards.
