Futera continues the World Football FX series and brings premium on-card autographs and authentic memorabilia cards to collectors with the 2026 FUTERA World Football FX Series 3 Soccer Cards. Each hobby box contains 2 numbered parallel cards and either an autograph card, a relic card or a rare insert card waiting to be pulled from the packs.

Description

For the third time, Futera is releasing a collection under the World Football FX label. Like the previous two editions, Series 3 focuses on players representing their national teams, but due to a lack of licensing rights, it has to do without official logos on the jerseys and cards.

With players from 51 different nations, however, the collection covers far more national teams than many comparable releases and stands out above all for featuring exclusively on-card autographs and authentic memorabilia with proof of provenance.

Futera has a special surprise in store with 6 differently coloured boxes distributed throughout the entire print run. The 3 red boxes, 2 gold boxes and 1 box with a Diamond look contain particularly exclusive cards that cannot be found in the standard turquoise boxes and are not mentioned by Futera in the checklist beforehand.

Base Cards

The collection’s BASE SET comprises 300 cards, divided into 200 portrait cards and 100 cards in landscape format. Within the portrait cards, Futera has added the traditional subdivision by positions on the pitch, GOALKEEPERS, DEFENDERS, MIDFIELDERS and FORWARDS, complemented by the two categories NEXT, featuring promising young stars, and THE GREATS, featuring legends.

Parallels

Futera has produced 5 parallel variants for these cards, numbered to /29 (Green), /15 (Blue), /6 (Pink), /3 (Red) or 1/1 (Diamond).

Insert Cards

Futera has divided the insert cards into three categories. The more common APEX, POWERPLAY, REVERED and SUPERSTARS inserts come with 6 parallel variants, with the highest numbering being /26.

The GAMECHANGER, HEROES and MAESTROS inserts are significantly rarer and come with 5 parallel variants, with the highest numbering being /6. Cards from this category are among the cards that can be pulled as the top hit from a box instead of an autograph or relic card.

The silver-foiled HOMETIME insert cards, numbered to /5, are the case hits of the 2026 FUTERA World Football FX Series 3 Soccer Cards collection.

Autograph Cards

According to Futera, all autograph cards in the collection feature on-card signatures, making these cards particularly special collectibles. They include cards of current stars such as Lionel Messi, Lamine Yamal, Moisés Caicedo and Fermin Lopez, as well as legends such as Michel Platini, Wayne Rooney, Kaka and Steven Gerrard. Additional information on the back of the cards states where and when the players signed the respective card.

One drawback of the autograph cards is the unfortunately somewhat unclear numbering of the parallels. Futera merely states that all cards and their parallel variants are individually numbered depending on the player, but does not publish any further details.

Relic Cards

Collectors can pull cards from a total of 8 different relic card categories from the packs. A particular highlight is the Showdown Dual Relics, featuring memorabilia from 2 stars of the collection embedded in the cards. As with the autograph cards, the back provides information about the exact provenance of the memorabilia used, which was worn by the players in games or during training.

Availability

Each hobby box from the Futera FX Series 3 collection contains 50 cards, divided among 10 packs with 5 cards each. Every box contains 2 numbered parallel cards and either an autograph card, a relic card or one of the rare insert cards (Gamechanger, Heroes, Maestros). Boxes containing special hits may, under certain circumstances, contain fewer than 50 cards.

The release date announced by Futera for 2026 FUTERA World Football FX Series 3 Soccer Cards is Saturday, the 1st of August 2026.

From that date, the boxes will be available from Futera’s online shop or from retailers specialising in sportscards.
