Description
The Topps Fan Set series, primarily designed for newcomers to the hobby, enters its third season with a new addition. For the first time, Topps is releasing a club set for Los Blancos from Spain’s capital with the 2024-25 TOPPS Real Madrid C.F. Official Fan Set Soccer Cards.
This marks the start of numerous Fan Sets from Topps dedicated to top European clubs for the 2024/25 season. Fan Sets have been announced for the teams of Arsenal, Bayern München, Benfica, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona.
As in previous years, the Fan Sets serve as a precursor to the Team Sets released somewhat later, which sit in the next higher price range and usually offer slightly more extensive content and a higher chance of autograph cards, while some also include memorabilia cards.
Base Cards
All Fan Sets for the 2024/25 season are based on an identical structure and are slightly individualized through a design adapted to the respective club colors. At the heart of each Fan Set is a 20-card Base Set featuring the most important players from the current squad.
Parallels
Topps does not provide any more detailed information about the parallel variants, leaving collectors in the dark regarding the serial numberings.
Insert Cards
The 2024-25 TOPPS Real Madrid C.F. Official Fan Set Base Cards are complemented by four Insert Sets, including the Golden Future inserts already used in last year’s Fan Sets, featuring the most promising young talents, as well as the Golden Treasures inserts, which are available as One-of-One cards only once per player across the entire print run. New additions this year are the Fanatic Fans and Monolith inserts.
Autograph Cards
Particularly lucky collectors will find another foil trading card in their boxes after the two parallels, featuring the autograph of one of the current top stars of Los Blancos or a club legend. However, Topps does not provide any more detailed information about the frequency of autograph cards in the 2024-25 TOPPS Real Madrid C.F. Official Fan Set boxes.
Availability
All 28 cards in a box are contained in a single pre-packed pack featuring a colorful mix of base and insert cards. The last two cards in each pack are the two parallel cards guaranteed in every 2024-25 TOPPS Real Madrid C.F. Official Fan Set box, one of which is always an unnumbered Electro parallel, while the other is a numbered parallel card.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Real Madrid C.F. Official Fan Set Soccer Cards is Friday, the 15th of November 2024.
The Real Madrid Fan Set 2024/25 boxes are offered by Topps through its own online shops in Europe and by retailers specializing in sports cards.
