Description
Almost exactly one month after the release of the main Chrome collection for the 2025/26 UWCL season, which ended in May, the 2025-26 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition UEFA Women’s Champions League Soccer Cards arrive as the significantly more limited Sapphire version, featuring sparkling blue cards.
Base Cards
The collection’s base set comprises 100 cards and is identical in content to that of the main Chrome collection released in June. This also means that only 14 of the 18 teams from the group stage are included in the Sapphire Edition. UWCL fans will have to do without cards featuring players from Atlético de Madrid, SL Benfica, SKN St. Pölten and Valerenga IF.
Parallels
The collection features a total of 9 parallel variants, which is 3 more than last year. New additions include the /15 Pink Parallels, the /35 Black & White Parallels and the /99 Green Parallels, which form the upper end of the numbering scale. The scale has also been extended upward for the autograph cards, meaning that /75 Purple Parallels and /99 Green Parallels can now also be pulled from packs.
Insert Cards
For the insert categories, Topps is limiting itself this year to the two Sapphire Edition exclusive INFINITE SAPPHIRE (1:80 packs) and SAPPHIRE SELECTIONS (1:40 packs) inserts and, unlike in previous years, has not carried over any other categories from the main Chrome collection.
Autograph Cards
The BASE AUTOGRAPH CARDS and FUTURE STARS AUTOGRAPH CARDS feature the same cards as the two identically named categories from the main Chrome collection, enhanced here with the Sapphire look.
They are joined by the SAPPHIRE SELECTIONS AUTOGRAPHS, which are only found in the Sapphire editions and rank among the more sought-after autograph cards in the collection due to their rarity.
Availability
Each hobby box of the UWCL Sapphire 2025/26 collection contains 32 cards, spread across 8 packs with 4 cards in each. According to Topps, these should always include 1 autograph card.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025-26 TOPPS Chrome Sapphire Edition UEFA Women's Champions League Soccer Cards is Friday, the 17th of July 2026. Short-term changes to this date are possible at any time and should be taken into account.
From that point onward, the boxes will be available from the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sports cards.
