With the 2025 TOPPS Finest Marvel Studios X-Men ’97 Trading Cards, Topps is releasing a collection based on last year’s Disney+ series of the same name. The classic design of the Finest cards pays tribute to the revival of the first X-Men animated series and will especially delight fans of the series that aired from 1992-1997.

Description
The Topps Finest X-Men ’97 Cards are the second product from Topps following its acquisition of the worldwide rights to produce Disney trading cards. Inspired by the designs of Topps Finest cards from the 90s, Topps aims to build on the success of previous collections with the 2025 Topps Finest Marvel Studios X-Men ’97 Trading Cards and excite fans of the Marvel heroes.
Base Cards
In the new Topps Finest X-Men collection, collectors can look forward to a 100-card base set. Topps has divided it into 4 sub-sets with increasing rarity: Common (bronze background), Uncommon (silver background), Rare (gold background) and Uncanny Short Print. Topps has also assigned the featured heroes and villains to the themed categories Ultimates, Rise, Master & Destroyer.
Parallels
Topps has produced 7 different parallel variants for the base cards. These include the unnumbered Refractor parallels as well as 6 additional variants numbered to /199 or lower.
Insert Cards
Alongside the base cards, there are 9 different insert sets to discover in the collection. These include the particularly rare Finest ’97 Short Prints (1:422 packs) and Omega Inserts (1:482 packs), as well as the X-Men ’97 Sketch Cards from 24 different artists, with only one example of each design in existence.
Autograph Cards
Autograph cards can also be found in the 2025 Topps Finest Marvel Studios X-Men ’97 Trading Cards collection. These feature signatures from the voice actors of the Marvel X-Men ’97 animated television series, which premiered on Disney+ in early 2024.
Availability
Each 2025 Topps X-Men 97 Hobby Box contains 60 cards for Marvel fans, spread across 12 packs with 5 cards each.
The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Finest Marvel Studios X-Men '97 Trading Cards is Wednesday, the 26th of February 2025.
Initially, the boxes will only be available from the Topps online shop from this point onwards. After production and delivery, they will also be available from retailers specialising in trading cards.
