Description
With four more sets dedicated to English Premier League teams, Topps is continuing the Fan Set series. Alongside the teams of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, the 2024-25 TOPPS Manchester United Official Fan Set Soccer Cards now also give Red Devils fans their first opportunity to enjoy Topps Fan Set cards.
The Fan Set series, which was developed specifically for newcomers to the collecting hobby, has previously featured sets dedicated to the teams of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, FC Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and FC Red Bull Salzburg.
The Topps Fan Sets are an affordable way for collectors to get started in the hobby and serve as the precursor to the Team Sets released later, which are positioned in a higher price category. These generally offer higher-quality content, a greater chance of autograph cards and often memorabilia cards as well.
Base Cards
All Fan Sets for the 2024/25 season are based on a consistent design that is customized with the club colors of the respective team. Each club Fan Set consists of a 20-card base set featuring the key players from the current season’s squad.
Parallels
Topps has not provided any more detailed information about the parallels and leaves collectors completely in the dark about which numbered variants can be found in the boxes. The only information communicated is that each box contains one numbered parallel card and one unnumbered Electro parallel card.
Insert Cards
In addition to the base cards, collectors will find cards from four insert categories in each box, representing additional small themed sets. These include the Golden Future inserts, familiar from previous years’ Fan Sets and featuring up-and-coming talents, as well as Golden Treasures, which are unique One-of-One cards for each player across the entire print run. New for the 24/25 season are Fanatic Fans and the Monolith inserts.
Autograph Cards
Lucky collectors also have the chance to find an autograph card from a current superstar or a Red Devils legend in their box. However, Topps does not provide any exact information about how frequently these autograph cards appear in the 2024-25 TOPPS Manchester United Official Fan Set boxes.
Availability
Each Manchester United Fan Set 2024/25 box contains 28 cards in one pre-packed pack. It includes all base cards, several inserts and two guaranteed parallel cards. One of these is always a numbered parallel card, while the other is an unnumbered Electro parallel.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Manchester United Official Fan Set Soccer Cards is Monday, the 9th of December 2024.
From that date, the boxes will be available from the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sportscards.
