Description
The newly structured European club competitions are entering the knockout phase with the currently taking place play-offs. To mark the occasion, the 2024-25 TOPPS Knockout UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards collection is released, featuring Cards of players from the teams still active in the competition.
Now appearing for the fifth time, the product previously released each year as a Topps Knockout Champions League Box includes, although in very limited numbers, players from teams in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League for the first time.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the Topps Knockout 2025 collection comes in at 81 Cards, matching the level of last year’s set. In addition to the Standard Base Cards, Topps has divided the Base Set into the categories Impact, Rookies and Star Player. The Impact category, featuring players who have had a significant impact on their teams in the competition this year, is the only one that includes Cards from teams in the other two European men’s club competitions.
Parallels
For the Parallels of the Topps Knockout UEFA Club Competitions 2025 Set, Topps uses the six different Parallel variants known from the On Demand Sets, numbered to /99 or lower. Each box contains two of these numbered Parallel Cards.
Insert Cards
New this year is a Bonus Parallel category with 14 Cards featuring the top scorers and assist leaders of the ongoing UEFA Champions League 2024/25 season. These Bonus Parallels – which did not receive a dedicated category name – are included as an additional Card in every 5th box on average.
Autograph Cards
Collectors of Autograph Cards will need a bit of luck, as these coveted Cards are included only in every second Topps UEFA Knockout Box on average. Alongside the Standard Autograph Cards, Topps is introducing Triple Autograph Cards for the first time as a new highlight of the Topps UEFA Knockout Set. For these special Cards, which exist for 7 Teams, the signatures of 3 top stars have been placed on a single card.
Availability
As in the previous year, each UEFA Club Competitions Knockout 24/25 Box contains a total of 40 Cards, distributed across 8 packs with 5 Cards each.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Knockout UEFA Club Competitions Soccer Cards is Tuesday, the 18th of February 2025.
The Topps Knockout 2024/25 Boxes will initially be available exclusively in the Topps online shop. After production and delivery of the boxes, which takes around 6–8 weeks, they will also be available from retailers specializing in Sports Cards.
