Description

In 2025, Topps is expanding its licensing portfolio with the worldwide rights to produce Disney Trading Cards. Alongside the Star Wars collections it has already been producing for many years, Topps will therefore be able to offer Trading Cards featuring the numerous Disney, Marvel or Pixar characters worldwide in the future, rather than only in Europe as before.

This cooperation with the Disney group kicks off right on the first day of the new year with the 2025 Topps Genesis Disney Trading Cards. Each box from the collection contains 5 cards, all of which are numbered.

Base Cards

The base set of the collection consists of 100 cards featuring the best known and most popular Disney characters. Topps has divided the base set into 5 sections containing 20 cards each: Star Wars, Disney, Pixar, Marvel Comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe. All base cards are numbered to /99, highlighting the limited print run of the collection.

Parallels

For these cards, Topps has produced 7 parallel variants, with the Blue Parallels numbered to /75 having the highest serial numbering. The others are Gold /50, Orange /25, Purple /15, Black Shimmer /10, Red Shimmer /5 and the Silver Circles 1/1, which exist only once for each card and feature a pattern strongly inspired by the SuperFractor Parallels known from the Chrome collections.

Availability

The release date announced by Topps for 2025 TOPPS Genesis Disney Trading Cards is Wednesday, the 1st of January 2025.

From that date, the boxes will be available exclusively from the Topps online shop and will be shipped to customers after a production period of around 6 to 8 weeks.
