Description
The Team Sets from Topps enter a new season, and FC Barcelona opens the series of numerous Team Set releases for Europe’s top clubs. A set for Liverpool FC has already been announced, and more will follow.
In contrast to the Fan Sets designed for beginners to the hobby, the Team Sets represent the next level, offering not only a higher chance of Autograph Cards but also Relic Cards and Autograph Relic Cards. Buyers of a 2024-25 TOPPS FC Barcelona Official Team Set Soccer Cards box can therefore look forward to a guaranteed Autograph, Relic or Autograph Relic Card from stars of the current squad or from some of the club’s greatest legends.
Base Cards
The Base Set of the Topps Barcelona Team Set 2024/25 collection consists of 50 Cards, half of which are dedicated to players of the current squad, while the other half is split across three Sub-Sets. Barça Rumba, as an expression of Barcelona’s unique style of play, 125 as a tribute to the club’s 125-year history, and Bona Fide Baller, celebrating the club’s rising stars and legends. Topps has also integrated top players from the women’s team into these Subsets, who once again claimed the title in Europe’s top women’s competition last season.
Parallels
For the Base Cards of the 2024-25 TOPPS FC Barcelona Official Team Set there are 7 different Parallel variants, six of which are numbered to /250 or lower. They are joined by the once-per-box Static Parallel, which is not numbered.
Insert Cards
For the Team Sets of the 2024/25 season, Topps has planned three thematic Insert Sets. The Pathway and Rainbow Flick Inserts will accompany collectors throughout the other Team Sets of the season, while the Samba Swagger Inserts, released as One-of-One, were produced exclusively for the Barca Team Set.
Autograph, Relic & Autograph Relic Cards
In every FC Barcelona Team Set Box, collectors will find as a Box Hit an Autograph, Relic or Autograph Relic Card from one of the stars of the current squad or from one of the club’s legends such as Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Andrés Iniesta, Rivaldo, Thierry Henry or Ronaldo.
The highlight of the set is the Badge of Honour Autograph Relic Cards with embedded shirt pieces and signature, which exist only once per player as One-of-One Cards in the entire collection.
Availability
Each FC Barcelona Official Team Set 24/25 Box contains 30 Cards, divided into 6 Packs with 5 Cards each. Anyone who wants to complete the Base Set will therefore need at least 2 Team Set Boxes.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS FC Barcelona Official Team Set Soccer Cards is Wednesday, the 27th of November 2024.
From that point on, the Barcelona Team Set 2024/25 Boxes will be available via the Topps online shop or from retailers specializing in sportscards.
