Description
With four more sets dedicated to English Premier League teams, the Topps Fan Set series enters its next round. In parallel with the release of the 2024-25 TOPPS Liverpool FC Official Fan Set Soccer Cards, fans of Arsenal, Manchester City and, for the first time, Manchester United can simultaneously also look forward to Topps Fan Set cards.
In the Fan Set series, which was developed specifically for newcomers to the hobby, sets have already been released for the teams of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, FC Bayern München, FC Barcelona and FC Red Bull Salzburg.
The Topps Fan Sets serve as an affordable entry-level option and are the precursor to the Team Sets released somewhat later, which are available in a higher price bracket. These usually offer more extensive content, a greater chance of autograph cards and, in some cases, memorabilia cards as well.
Base Cards
All Fan Sets for the 2024/25 season are based on a uniform design that is individually adapted using each team’s club colors. At the heart of each Fan Set is a base set consisting of 20 cards, featuring the most important players from the current season’s squad.
Parallels
Topps leaves collectors in the dark about the available parallel variants that can be pulled from the boxes and provides no further details.
Insert Cards
Alongside the base cards, collectors will also find several cards from four insert categories in their box, each focusing on different themes within the sets. These include the Golden Future inserts known from the previous year’s Fan Sets, featuring talented young players, and the Golden Treasures, which, as One-of-One cards, appear only once per player across the entire print run. New for the 24/25 season are the Fanatic Fans and Monolith inserts.
Autograph Cards
Particularly lucky collectors may also discover an autograph card featuring one of the Reds’ current top stars or a club legend in their box. However, Topps does not provide any information on the frequency of autograph cards in the 2024-25 TOPPS Liverpool FC Official Fan Set boxes.
Availability
In each Liverpool Fan Set 2024/25 box, collectors will find 28 cards in a pre-packed pack. In addition to all base cards and several inserts, it also contains the two parallel cards guaranteed per box. One of these is always a numbered parallel card, while the other is an unnumbered Electro parallel.
The release date announced by Topps for 2024-25 TOPPS Liverpool FC Official Fan Set Soccer Cards is Monday, the 9th of December 2024.
From that date, the 2024-25 TOPPS Liverpool FC Fan Set boxes will be available from Topps through its own online shops in Europe as well as from retailers specializing in sports cards.
