2025 TOPPS MLS 30th Anniversary Collection Soccer Cards

Release Date:

With an exclusive online release, Topps celebrates 30 years of Major League Soccer. Fans of the North American professional soccer league can look forward to one Autograph Card and three numbered Parallels from the top stars of three decades inside the boxes of the 2025 Topps MLS 30th Anniversary Collection Soccer Cards.

Description

Just under two years after the 1994 FIFA World Cup held in the USA, Major League Soccer kicked off on April 6, 1996. From a start with 10 teams and modest spectator interest in its early years, the league has grown over 30 years into a thriving competition with 27 teams from the USA and 3 Canadian teams.

Topps honors the 30th season anniversary with a collection that highlights players from three decades. It features big names who left a lasting impression on fans, as well as those currently striving to do so.

Base Cards

The base set includes 30 Cards, looking back at stars from the early league years such as Carlos Valderama, Eric Wynalda, or Jozy Altidore. European football greats who played in MLS, such as Kaká, Thierry Henry, Bastian Schweinsteiger, or Zlatan Ibrahimović are also included, as well as current active players like Lionel Messi, Hany Mukhtar, or rising talent Cavan Sullivan.

Parallels

Topps produced a total of 7 parallel versions for this collection, numbered to /75, /50, /30, /25, /10, /5, and 1/1, and foil-stamped compared to the regular Cards. The Parallels also honor the anniversary with the special 30th Anniversary Blue Parallels numbered to /30.

Insert Cards

The collection includes two insert categories. Anniversary Accolades highlight players who received specific league honors, such as a spot in the Best XI of a season, the Golden Boot, or MVP recognition. The second category – Decades of Honor – focuses on the championship teams from the 29 past seasons, showing them during the trophy presentation.

Autograph Cards

Almost all base cards also feature a matching Autograph Card, with only Eddie Pope and rookie Kévin Denkey not included among the 28 different base autographs of the collection.

The true highlight of the collection is the set of 5 Triple Autograph Cards featuring iconic trios of players. These One-of-One Cards are each available only once in the collection.

Availability

Each box contains 1 pack with 15 Cards from the collection, always including 3 numbered Parallels and 1 Autograph Card.

The release date announced by Topps for 2025 Topps MLS 30th Anniversary Soccer Cards is Tuesday, the 22nd of July 2025.

The boxes are offered exclusively through the Topps US online shop.
